I hope Sony talks about UK pricing for their games, cause here its £50 while xbox 1st part games are £45. Sony needs to sort that out.

Also i would rather wait for the conference to see what is announced rather than things leaking. If things leaks before hand, are you going to enjoy it?

Then your in the wrong place! I don't mean that in a bad way, but leaks are the nature of GAF.

Iirc even tho Liverpool was shut down, the majority of the employees got a job at evolution or other studios.

Or did I just imagine this? Lol

No, you're right. Most went to Evolution Studios. Which is why people should be excited about Drive Club.

I think they went to Cambridge and London too. I'm not sure, I could be wrong here.

Most definitely, having as much info as possible can only aide you, no matter the walk of life.

I'm with the other guy.

Watching the Sixth Sense with all the information kind of ruins the experience.

If we had all the information there's tons of stuff we wouldn't experience. How much more exciting was E3 given we had no idea if the DRM thing would stick?

Everyone could just wait for Tuesday and have fun with the announcements we DO get.

I see GT6. It'll likely have a lot shown off during gamescom. I don't expect much during the presentation though

I could definitely see GT6 getting a decent amount of attention during the conference. Sony made a big deal out of how big GT is in Europe, noting that nearly half of the sales come from Europe and GT5 has sold close to 7m units in Europe alone.

Indeed we could & those of that nature will do, but personally I'd rather know than not.
Films for me then of course but in regard towards a system I'm about to invest upwards of £400 & quite excited for then I like to know what we're getting & possible pitfalls upfront.

Take this gen & going into next, I was mainly a 360 player & had I not browsed GAF would most probably gone with the XB1 but having a little prior knowledge helped me make what I feel is the right choice for me.

But waiting is hard and we're all animals ferociously awaiting any bit of information to devour up.

Don't worry about the prices, £50 is the official price of PS3 games btw, but you don't find any games at the price, their usually £37.64 at ASDA or something, this isn't something to be concerned about, at least not yet.

Also, word on the street (spanish gamestop) for a Gamescom vita "surprise" is
CoD:DoG Vita
There is a box art there as well which looks to have been distributed to them rather than them making stuff up.

added a spoiler because some people in a thread about the conference don't want conference spoilers.

Cboat also made it seem like MS is going to try to cripple japanese development again this generation. More moneyhats for inevitable bombas!

It worked for awhile. It's only now that the Vita has outsold the 360 in Japan.

It was never really working. The best example of that is Vesperia's sales. The PS3 version outsold the 360's lifetime sales in its first week. That happened even though the PS3 version was released a year after the 360 version. Japanese gamers just never cared about the console.

Anyway, i'll be interested in hearing what the insiders that frequent Sony threads have to say about this. There was a lot of talk of Sony working with Japanese devs this time around. It's going to be really annoying if they've once again ignored Japanese support so they can continue to pursue their obsession with western developers.

Is this the first time cboat has dropped information on Sony? Not doubting him though, there's definitely been a lot of smoke for a late October launch.

A few years ago he leaked a gif of Remember Me back when Sony was publishing it as a PS3 exclusive. I believe it was right before gamescom that year when it was originally supposed to debut. But Sony ended up dropping the game.

They might try but most Japanese developers are already on board with the PS4 - namely with exclusives. MS has no year advantage this time and I'd like to think Japanese developers have a bit of sense after what happened this generation.
