Hi folks, I need some info:

what was the lowest price (and when, if possible?) in the UK for the following items:

- Persona 4 Golden
- Playstation Vita Wi-Fi
- 3DS XL
- Wii U Premium model

I'm at work at 99% of gaming sites are blocked so I can't search myself.
Persona 4 was a few weeks ago on sale at play-asia who dispatch for free. Its at least cheaper than elsewhere.
There is a psvita megapack with a bunch of games around 169pounds at amazon.co.uk or the german one.

Also the wii u model was on sale a few weeks ago for 222euro(the premium one ㅠ.ㅠ)i also missed that one... It was the the german saturn and media markt, but amazon.de also offered that, who also dispatch to other countries.

Maybe you should wait until fall or christmas then there will be a ton of good offers for us customers.

That's precisely what I'll do.

I'm seriously considering a Vita, especially after the pricedrop and new bundle announcement yesterday at gamescom.

I hope some crazy ~100-120GBP sale will happen by the end of the year.

And with the Animal Crossing promo going, it's actually £169 with 3 games.

Not too shabby!

Is there a new promo or are you referring to the "Recommend a friend" promo?

I literally don't know anyone with a 3DS so that promo is a bit out of reach but other than that, it's still a great deal. Just not sure whether to buy it now or wait for possible christmas time deals.

That's the one. You're on GAF, so there's no way you won't find someone willing to give you a code (there's a thread for that). They are daisy chainable which means 1 million codes can be generated starting from one. Because the person that gets a free copy of AC will get a recommendation code to give to someone.

Oh damn, I should have investigated the deal a bit more. I might have to assign some of my board gaming money into a 3DS XL now, we'll see :)

The last handheld I owned was a Game & Watch in 1989 or so but 3DS has couple of games I'm very interested to play, including Animal Crossing.

Any deals on Diablo 3? I got the starter edition and want to buy the full version, but the game is over a year old. I'm not going to pay 60 euro for it.

£42.99 for a Vita 32GB card at Sainsburys? Good deal?

Yeah that's pretty damned good. Not seen them cheaper than that on their own...

Also in regards to PSVita. You can buy it for £149 at Tesco Direct with £20 off the marked price using TDX-MJGQ.

Also there's £10 off a spend on the website using TDX-HD6P if you spend over £75. So you could buy the £49 32GB card plus a game (eg preorder Killzone for £30) and that would take the mem card down to £39.

Deeply regretting not taking the £5 Dark Souls offer on gamersgate the other week there, anyone had any good pc digital deals lately for it? I want to be puniiished.

I couldn't even get the game to run when I bought it on steam. Apparently the pc port is very disappointing even for those who can get it going.

I think with a few good mods, you can sort that stuff out, plenty play it on pc here on gaf. I just didn't have an interest in the game in general until recently, my sister started talking about it alot, and I'd like to give it a go. Certainly, I'm not worried about my system not running it. Thanks though, I do appreciate the advice :)

The PC port's by far the best version of the game once you apply DSFix to it. Pity the online will die with GfWL next year, but Dark Souls 2 will be out by then anyway.

Any (realistic) possibility that this will hit ~100GBP on some sale?

Probably not brand new soon, but I got mine for £135 with a game back in February, literally anything is possible haha. Used though you can get one for that price right now, I just sold mine to a friend, and I used ebay buy it now as a base line and the cheapest on there were going for £100. I did him a solid and gave it to him for £80 with 4gb mem card and a game, since I'm such a sweet guy.

So my Nuuvem order has changed, without warning, to Saint's Row IV (Australia). Fuck that noise.

Yeah they're apparently giving keys based on where you ordered from so that everyone can activate the game without using a VPN. :/

Mines swapped to Europe now. Should get the key tomorrow with a bit of luck.

32gb Memory Card now £39.99 on Amazon UK.

Finally picked one up. Knew it was going to be worth waiting until after Gamescom. Now I can finally play all those PS+ Games (and the ones I needed a memory card for).

Edit: Beaten to the punch x2

With regards to the Wii U in the UK are we expecting a bundle any time soon and was it ever confirmed that the white is being discontinued? Can't find cheaper than £200 here although Amazon Italy have one at about £40 less.

I've decided I really want one but fuck what Iwata says, the price is a problem.

possibly at the end of the year during sales time, i got one last Black Friday from amazon.de for £124 with a copy of LBP which i sold for £28 so the Vita cost me £96. just keep checking this thread!

Not sure about a bundle, Zelda is much more of a bigger thing in the US, so I expect them to get a priority bundle for that if the rumour is true.

I would hazard a guess Super Mario 3D world will get one too as its the big holiday game, DK aside.

The white one has been regularly been on sale at 150£ and the premium on at 200£.

How do you get the Amazon price to show for Flubit? Since its OOS, I only get the next one thats in-stock at around £65, and Flubit takes that as the comparison price.

Not sure - I was worried about that, too, after seeing the £65 alternative after I made the request, but when the offer came they'd used £39.99, so perhaps I submitted it early enough that it wasn't yet out of stock. I'm afraid I didn't work any link magic!

Ah, thanks. I'll stick mine back on and see what happens.

Are there any good analogue thumb grips in rubber for the vita?
And is Hori Grip the best body-grip for the Vita?

Preferably on amazon.

For those of you getting a PS4, you might want to keep an eye on Amazon UK: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/feature....&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=422980927&pf_rd_i=300703

For some reason the game prices are dropping by the minute. These games were all at £55 at one point (especially the EA games which are now £42) and many more are dropping by a fiver and more. Watch Dogs was £55 like 20 minutes ago but is now £47 for some reason.

Either the RRP will actually be £40-£45 instead of the £55 being shown everywhere, or Amazon's in a good mood. :p
