Can't wait for Breath of Fire II! It was one of the first RPGs I managed to beat back in the day, although my understanding of the English language was very poor at the time. The very basic translation might have helped a bit, I guess.

There is a very good chance that when the game was released your understanding of English was not much worse than those that translated this game.

BoF II has a historically bad translation for a JRPG.

I suspect like all Wii -> 3DS ports, it'll be ruined by a poor framerate.

Wow I remember enjoying this on Wii Ware quite a lot. Wonder how it'll play without the motion controls. I hate that publishers keep using the ugly OG 3DS for their videos though.

This is probably a 3DS port of the Android/iOS port Gamelion made for Ghostfire...whether Ghostfire exists anymore or not, I have my doubts.

The same thing happened with mine when I redeemed my coins for MMA back in 2011, and I know some other people as well. I read something about people being able to fix it by fiddling with some kind of DS options in the 3DS settings, but that didn't work for me. Called Nintendo and they said I would need to send my 3DS in but I never bothered since everything else worked fine, though now that I think about it I don't think I ever tried playing it now that I have an XL. Might be worth looking into that system settings thing though

But you own a Wii U. You should know how Wii Mode works. 3DS has everything under one roof whereas Wii Mode is completely sectioned off at least in part to prevent piracy.

I'm not having any luck with this, I'm not seeing any settings except the DS Profile, which all I can do is change the name, message, and color.
