Waaaah!

I entirely by accident found Metal Gear Solid VR missions on PSN (went up this week?). Immediately bought it on the PS3 and then grabbed my Vita to download it. But I can't! Says not available to download on a vita system. But it is a OSP game, and I have MGS1 on my vita.

Is there any way around this? I love the VR missions but realistically won't have much chance to play them on my PS3 - vita would have been perfect

Edit: are 64Gb cards only going to be in Japan for a while? If so (and if the prices aren't crazy) I might order one from amazon to be delivered to my in-laws there
Edit2: hmm, about £55,not bad

Sadly Capcom won't be supporting the system soon. Part of the blame lies with Sony of course as it's their job to secure those games. Sucks that Capcom and SE are avoiding the platform. Especially SE since they made some of the best games for the PSP imo

To be fair SE is avoiding making games in general unless it's for iOS.

Try to transfer it via PS3?

But they made other games on DS and supported it, no?

Yes, they made DS games. They never released insults, or had as poor of support for PSP like they have for Vita.

True but they did put out some solid titles on the 3ds right? I'm not sure what Sony/SCEJ is doing by not securing any big known IPs for the system :S baffling really

At least PS Nova looks ace

Does anybody whether the challenge medals in Rayman Legends are tied to a set time/distance or relative to other peoples times/distances?

so yeah, Dragon Crown is kind of boring (playing alone), any tips or tricks to make the game more fun and enjoyable?
I personally stop playing after I got one of the talisman. It got way to repetitive even with playing with friends.

Okamiden and Ghost Trick was the only notable titles they put out. Other than that it was pretty sparse

Protip: Make friends.

no one I know or in my friend list bought the game, not my fault.

Be a better person.

yup this is my problem with the game, It's not solo or co-op or online, game is damn boring.

but I'm open to people suggestions here, I want to beat it somehow even when it bores me to tears (so I don't feel like I wasted my money)

So that means they might bring it as a native Vita game eventually?

Can't wait to play this. I've been looking forward for a Silent Hill game on my Vita for like forever. Hopefully Climax's unannounced title is a SH and comes to Vita.

Btw. Does Silent Hill Origins work on the Vita? I have the UMD but the price on PSN is definitely worth it for me but I can't see it on the Vita Store.

Edit: Nvm, I read it is playable on Vita but you have to transfer it via PS3. Will be getting it soon, It's been a while since the last time I've played it.

Tell me if it's any good. Tried the PSP version of Shattered Memories and didn't like it. The premise of simply running with a lantern, and running, and running, and running seemed stupid and boring to me. I didn't expect a rail shooter, but man... I didn't like the gameplay at all.

If it's more like a normal Silent Hill i'll give it a try.

I don't think it's sensitive enough. I have it at max and still hand to tilt forty five degrees to get my shots right.

I think Gravity Rush did it best.

I didn't use the gyro aiming in GR at all. IMO it worked better in Uncharted, specially with the sniper.

Is Silent Hill: Book of Memories any good?

I thought it was worth the sale price it's been at several times in the past few months. It's still on my card, but I have so much to play and the online was kind of dead, so I haven't gone back recently.

You can use a forwarding service like Tenso, for something as small as a memory card they would charge you about $5 as their fee plus ~$12 for shipping, in addition to the cost of the memory card.

Noted. Thanks. Wonder what PlayAsia would cost instead of amazon.jp. Knowing how SLOW and STUPID SCEA is means we won't be seeing the 64gb card, the remodel, or the Vita TV here anytime soon.

Unless it transfers via PS3 (I think MGS still doesn't in NA), you're probably out of luck.

I'm sure if (and when) the FFX HD titles sell well, SE will consider doing more cross platform titles. If they perceive a market for it and money to be made, they'll be there.

Hypnosis. But seriously... if you don't like the gameplay, you're probably out of luck. Have you tried all the classes?

I guess that's what he gets for lobbing up a slow pitch like that...

Truth? Figures as much -- they haven't supported the 3DS that much, have they? I mean, look at RE:Revelations -- they obviously didn't feel like they got their money back on it so they spruced up some textures and pushed it on 4 additional consoles to get more purchases. Not sure how that worked out for them, but still...

The crux here is that Capcom does not perceive a market for their games on Vita -- at least not a profitable one, so they're happy to keep offering their classic PSP titles on sale to make money from it and have to spend very little in return.

no one I know or in my friend list bought the game, not my fault.
...

I think a decent # of people in here bought the game. You don't have them on your Friends List?

Silent Hill Origins is great. It is very much like the "classic" Silent Hill games. My favorite after 2 and 3 actually. It is a bit short though, it took me about 8 - 9 hours my first time iirc. But the gameplay and atmosphere are spot on, and there are a couple of really cool levels.

It's not as bad as some people make out, but still not very good tbh.

I disagree. If you go in expecting a silent hill game? Yeah, it's not very good. If you tried the demo and liked the general gameplay? It's very competent -- but people interested in it should consider getting the DLC as well because it adds a bit of needed variety to the game (a couple enemy types, a bunch of new weapons, etc.)

Very competent doesn't mean very good.

Cacpcom seems to be happy or at least content with the 3DS. The street fighter game they put out was bretty gud and for a while it was one of the best selling 3rd party games on the handheld.

Yeah, I am not enjoying Dragon's Crown at all. And I really liked Muramasa....

I'm playing solo and I hate how the game forces you to play with 3 AI controlled party members. There's just too much shit going on and most of the time I can't even see where the hell my character is on the screen, so I just mash buttons and hope for the best. I also think I messed up picking the elf, but it's too late to go back since I've already put 8-9 hours into the game.

Been playing Killzone and, as someone who never plays multiplayer, I actually am liking it quite a bit on the Vita. Only finished the first single player mission but from what I played it was very impressive stuff.

Why have one when you can have two for twice the price?
...Weren't you also the dude that bought two red and two blue Vitas in the airport on your way home from Japan? @_@

$115.99, if you hadn't already looked. Be careful with that though, when you add it to your cart they'll add on a "free" Play-Asia branded pouch. You're gonna want to remove that from your cart unless you want to pay an extra $9 (at least) for shipping.

Yep, but I kept one blue/red, sold the others. I LOVE the Vita system.
Ballin @__@

...All you need is a silver to complete the collection. (EDIT: Maybe you already have one! That seems entirely possible.)

So the Youtube app on Vita is broken, right?

I really liked using it but Subs and Favs dont show up anymore.

Yup it's broken

My "watch later" list crashes the app every time I load it up. It goes away when delete and redownload it....then it eventually starts doing it again.

Maybe you need to find the charater that suits you, i knew i would have loved the amazon, now that i tried some of the others i don't feel them.

same.
At the tavern choose "join off" and you won't have members.
If you restart with a new character you can use the strong members of the old character to do faster and easily the missions you have already done.

finished my first playthrough of Killzone. Really enjoyed it, even though I'm not a fan of FPS usually. So gorgeous and I liked trying out the different weapons.

Will probably trade it in but might try a few of the stealth contracts first, see how I get on.
