With hints of other GTAV SKUs, will you be strong enough to wait?

I figure if it's been this long since IV, I can wait a little longer for it to come to Steam. Not happy about it, but it'll be worth it.
 
Meh. I'll probably check it out when it's on the pre-owned market. I totally don't need to jump in day one, especially as I already have Saints Row IV.
 
No way, I've been waiting since I finished San Andreas for a GTA game of this scale again so just over 8 years.

Have ordered the 360 version and will buy the PS4 version on day 1 without a second thought.
 
I can definitely wait and will. I enjoy GTA a lot, but I won't double dip and still have some good games in my backlog.
 
I didn't particularly like gta 4 so yeah I'll probably wait for pc version. I loved San andreas which is why I'd be interested in it. I seem to dislike the numbered versions of the game, but again, San andreas was awesome.
 
Heck no. I bought the 360 version of IV, then the boxed PC version, and finally the steam collection of everything. I don't mind taking a couple dips for these games.
 
Too late. Pre-ordered the game yesterday even though I was supposed to wait for the PC version.

Will be double dipping when it releases on PC, probably in March or February.
 
I'd cancel my pre-order, if it hadn't already been dispatched (UK, Amazon). Rockstars witholding of information being given freely for other games has left a bad taste in the mouth; it seems to me to be a pre-meditated move designed to rinse more money from people, and pretty shady from any angle tbh. Lets face it, the game's at no risk of failing (at least sales-wise), so why treat your fanbase in this way?

Rockstar once again proving that they can do what they want. Can't wait for the bough to break on them.
 
Double dip

360 tomorrow night. XBO when it finally comes to next Gen. Although I wouldn't doubt the first big rockstar next Gen game is Red Dead 2
 
I'll be waiting for the PC version when it turns up or the PS4 version. I like the ideas of GTA but the games always have something that just annoys the hell out of me so i'm happy to wait for first impressions.

My friends however, they're like children on Christmas Eve and every second that goes by is an eternity :)

If other SKUs do exist it makes sense to release before the holiday season, right? However, since there has been no announcements, could Rockstar wait until next year, an unbearable wait for many!

Rockstar does its own thing, however, they can easily announce next gen version later this year, so sales of the currently known SKUs are not affected.

But other than the code details, there has been no inventory database or ratings leaks, usually barometers of release.

My prediction is next year. Can you wait?

They'll want to keep the revenues come in steadily, it would make no sense to release a next gen version now. But I wouldn't even expect them at all. The sole reason why Orbis is named in the config file might be because they intend to keep the engine for future games on PS4. And if they do come work on them won't have started until GTA V went gold. The number one reason why there is no PC version of GTA V at launch is piracy. It will come out but don't expect it before April 2014 because of window dressing.

Double Dippin' all day erryday over on this end of the screen. One of the few games I'm sure I'd be happy to do so with
 
Nope. It's been pretty evident to me that at least a PC version is going to happen at some point. But I can't wait the additional three months or whatever. And people I know are getting it on 360.

The only thing I might be a bit bummed about is I'll lose all my progress when I eventually, inevitably double dip.
 
School will likely prevent me from fully enjoying the game right now, so I can probably wait for a PS4 version.

I have no problem picking it up again for my X1 or Ps4 if they release it in a few months or next fall. But I am all in at release this week.
 
Nope :(

Couple reasons:

1. Poor willpower
2. Everyone will be talking about it (zeitgeist)
3. Who knows how the port will be or when

Of course i will wait for a PC release and if its a bad port then i wont buy it.
I refuse to play this with a gamepad.

If the PC port comes late then that would probably also mean i wont buy it, it kinda depends on what else is out at the time. Anyways, its just another game, granted its popular, but still...

If im gonna play it, its gonna be on a PC.
 
Sure, but mostly because GTAIV was so disappointing, I want to wait until the hype settles down and see the post-holiday impressions before buying. That I might be able to get it on PS4 is just gravy.
 
Totally waiting...don't have to be there day one and would prefer next gen version. No double dip here...unless R* comes out and says saves will transfer over...
