Oh it's not that bad. I have games enough to last me a couple of years in a desert island.
Same here. My backlog is huge. And I was planning on replaying P4G anyway

Shahid just tweeted about this:
shahidkamal: Monster Hunter on PS Vita http://t.co/c559mn9MVi

shahidkamal: Maybe not the Monster Hunter you all want, but its start. From small acorns etc.

Seems to be aware of the kind of MH that this is. But his last tweet gives me a bit of hope.
Quoting myself from the MH Vita thread:
Now Bend needs to show its game.
I'm starting to wonder if GR2 is a vita exclusive or not. I sure hope so..the system needs it.
?
Is there any reason to believe otherwise...?
I already ordered both a black and white 2000, but that video makes me way more excited.Engadget posted their Vita 2000 hands on, the controls are sounding like a good reason to upgrade:

More clicky is all they say about the controls. I don't need (or want) the clicks.Engadget posted their Vita 2000 hands on, the controls are sounding like a good reason to upgrade:

fixedI do agree with Takao - MHFG looks likeis junk.
I kind of wish I was a MH fan, people seem to really love it. Just can't for some reason.
I enjoy the genre but I can't get into Monster Hunter specifically. The gameplay just feels way way too slow to me and has put me off it, games like Phantasy Star Online 2 on the other hand I love because it does that type of gameplay in a much more faster pace.I kind of wish I was a MH fan, people seem to really love it. ENGADGET's video of Remote Play on Vita!

That looks fantastic.From other thread.
Remote play really looks lag-free.

Imo monster hunter and nintendo communities are probably the two with the biggest concentration of fanboys, now that they are blended together i expect monster hunter to break all the records.

For those of you out there who have a Vita already, how much does the reduced weight and thickness matter? Is it really that heavy / thick?
From other thread.
Remote play really looks lag-free.
The MonHunt Frontier G announcement thread is rather annoying... the way they crap on the Vita... sigh
I'm more than willing to make an investment, I was a WoW junkie for 8 years. MH just hasn't clicked with me the times I have tried it.
Weight & thickness is not a problem. Only problem is stick placement, they are so low. You might want to consider to buy extra grips (I did buy) and those extra grips take room. So carrying Vita + carrying box & those extra handlegrips takes room from my bag.
Havent seen new model live so hard to compare (about colouring) but I love my white model (AC:3 "bundle model). From the pictures, the desing of new model looks awful.
In any case, buy Vita.
So happy for Gravity Rush 2!
I guess it was just an announcement and no screenshots or trailers were shown?
Well, I hope someone out there is happy about the MHFG announcement.

The problem with Monster Hunter is the first 10 missions or so. You really have little sense of direction in the beginning or why you are doing some of the worthless missions. Once you have a set of gear and a decent weapon and just start going after specific bosses I think is really where the game shines.
To me, especially the new one, it's like just fighting bosses in Dark Souls without the extraneous BS. The bosses are just more fleshed out. Everything is breakable or able to be chopped off. They also have more attack animations.
Taking out a Lucent Nargacuga solo is harder than the hardest boss in Dark Souls, no question.
For me it was the grind & the lack of proper MP support. Although from what I understand, both has been fixed/ added in MH4.
Now I just need them to announce that shit for the west. My 3DS XL + Frankenstick is ready.
Whatever happened to that 2d horror indie game that was supposed to come in august. was pretty intrigued by that, I dont remember what it is called though.
