There's no way this is anything but a PS3(gen-wise) game. And I'm just fine with that, Atlus are wizards with technology.
The 3DS people will be very disappointed if it's announced for PS3 or Vita.
He mught be, to start; but soon he'd understand. We all would.
I can't wait for the "No 3DS/No Wii U, no buy" posts.

The more rabid Sony fanboys will be disappointed that they don't have a high profile PS4 exclusive JRPG to look forward to (and gloat about). There's also a few people who are tired of the current HD consoles and will not touch a last gen game once the PSBone are out.
The only need a demon has is the need to die beneath my Towering Inferno fusion spell. :|
As they should be. Right now there is no evidence that Atlus has even considered putting it on the 3DS, so their constant requests are kinda silly.

PS3 would make a select few people mad but otherwise most people will say "that makes sense."
If by mobile you mean Vita port then yes plz.

As much as we would like a PC port there is no way. Also we don't even know if it's P5 yet.

Will be good to see the P4A2 PS3 release date. Hopefully no region locking this time.

Yeah, I mean I'm sure if Atlus ponies up then they'll put a 360 version out, but left to their own devices, who knows.

The speculation is fun. P3 theme with three boxes? For some reason I'll go for the expected announcement of the fighting game update with three new characters (including two main P3 choices) before worrying about P5 on the 3DS.
It isn't a P3 theme though. Red isn't one P3's primary colors.
After playing some Soul Hackers last night, I never want negotiation in anything ever again.
Complete garbage gameplay mechanic.
Also I can't see Hashino dropping One More for Press Turn. People love One More.
It's a colour for P3P. FeMC's theme is red. (Though you're right that it doesn't actually show up in any of the imagery)

Her HUD is pink. Her colour is red. Her hair is red (Auburn, really), her clothes are often red, her earphones are red, her eyes are red, and the colouring in the opening is red and blue.
Her colour is red to contrast Makoto's colour, which is blue.

Me too but after seeing the flagship SMT IV being on 3DS it wouldn't suprise me to see Persona on 3DS either. Sega is going to want a return on their investment. The quickest way to do this? Release a popular title on the most popular system, 3DS.
Not to mention the relationship between Nintendo and Atlus.
P5 is too far along in development for Sega to have any say on platform.
Fact is, the Persona team makes console games. One of the reasons they made Catherine was to get the hang of PS3/360 development before they jumped in head first with P5.
I think it's going to be a PS3 game, possibly a cross-gen PS4 game too.
Going by earlier comments Sega's purchase had a direct impact on Persona 5's platform(s). I think 3DS is unlikely in any case still though.
Wouldn't make sense to have another teaser site for P4A2. I wouldn't be surprised if one of the 3 boxes is for the console release of the game, but they wouldn't reveal three characters that are already known. Most likely it's three games.

If Sega had any impact in platform, it was probably them asking for the game to be ported to other similarly capable (or more powerful) platform(s) like Wii U, 360, Xbox One, PS4 and PC. I am of course basing this on the assumption that P5 is a PS3 game, pre-Sega buyout. I think that is a reasonable assumption to make.
