Do you recognize your fellow gaffers ?

The only people i could remember are the people that post in the Post pics of yourself thread or people that post something in pretty much every thread.
 
If I've hung out with them in person at some point or another, I recognize their posts instantly and do remember things about them. In this case, I'm referring to my NYC GAF folks. There's also former N-Philes peeps that I recognize. Regular members that make threads left and right or have memorable avatars also stand out to me as well. In general, if it's a thread I frequently lurk in and/or post in, I remember things about members that post in it.
 
Oh MrHicks is another one whose avatar has made me read his posts with a funny cynical tone as though Bill Hicks is saying it.

Hey who was that poster who used to have the avatar of Waldorf from the muppets and the tag said "official forum cocksucker" or something similar? I used to just laugh my ass off at that for some reason wondering what series of events possibly led to that tag.

-Batigol is someone I recognize despite him being kind of new, just because his threads were such an onslaught of obvious shock value attempt (until he got juniored).

-I think SmokeyDave is one of the all time funniest people ever on the forum

I really loved Dolan, it was a weird blast from the past to see it on GAF. I could never take the guy seriously though, I break out in laughing fits at the thought of Dolan duck hehe.
 
There are several dozen users that I'll read whatever they post. So yeah, I've become familiar. Some pleasurable, others enraging. It's one of the things I've come to love about this joint. Dissent.
 
Yeah, it helps when they keep an avatar for a long time. EmCeeGramr is my secret crush and I bet he doesn't even know who I am, he's funny and has had the same avatar forever. And it's from a game I love, which is another factor in me recognizing people.

I pretty much recognize every single GAFer. So you better watch out.
 
Yeah, I tend to be interested (ie lurk/post) in very different things but after a while on the same subjects, you quickly recognize user names or the way people post.
 
Yeah, most people that have been around for a while I have a fair recollection of ... I've also met a bunch personally, so that helps!

Usually avatars more than names, though I'm better with names on gaming side. I lurk here too much.

I remember a mod stepping in and saying that GAF should stop picking on aguirre and the age thing didn't matter, I think it was in the Funny Pics Thread.
 
I recognize a lot of people by avatars, names, and tags. And quite a few by posting style.

But I'm so uninteresting I'm probably one of the least recognizable posters. Blending with the crowd.
 
After reading the thread title, I thought no. After reading through the thread, I actually do recognise the names/avatars of quite a number of the people in here.
 
I recognize 19 people on the first page.

100 ppp, bitches.

In general I don't really pay much mind to who's posting. It's all just "gaf" to me, which is to say, it's all just "internet people."
 
I recognize a lot of avatars, but I can only put a personality of a few of them. I don't think I post enough for anyone to recognize me tho.
