Simon Kinberg is to write 'The Fantastic Four' script.

The 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' scribe has signed up to pen the 20th Century Fox reboot and has also joined the project as a producer alongside Matthew Vaughn, who he is working with on the upcoming 'X-Men' movie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, sources said Simon is planning to overhaul 'The Fantastic Four' script substantially and he is no stranger to working with Marvel Comics characters after previously co-writing the script for 2006's 'X-Men: Last Stand' and co-producing 'X-Men: First Class' in 2011.

Josh Trank is set to direct 'The Fantastic Four' and Michael B. Jordan - who he worked alongside on 2012 sci-fi movie 'Chronicle' - is also being eyed up for the lead role of the 'Human Torch' in the film after he reportedly had ''multiple meetings at Fox'' recently.

'Kick-Ass' co-creator Mark Millar will work as creative consultant for Fox on the forthcoming film, and he has promised fans the upcoming movie will be a fresh, modern take on the superhero genre.

'The Fantastic Four' is currently set to shoot this fall and has a March 2015 release date.

Yes its the hair that bothers me. Nor do I feel this actor is strong enough in appearance to carry this character. Eyes are strong but facial features and just the make up cannot change his hair well enough for me.

I wanted someone that looks like Quicksilver that can act. Cast Nico Rosberg plz.

Since Ronan is in Guardians of The Galaxy, (I hope he survives the movie. He's my second favorite Marvel Cosmic character after Richard Rider.) I hope he's the link to the Inhumans. Quicksilver and Crystal had a rocky marriage, and Crystal is better off with Ronan.

The first one probably won't even have five minutes of screen time since he was placed in the movie FIVE WEEKS into production and two weeks after Joss announced that he was going to use Wanda and Pietro.


The second one is one of Joss' favorite characters and has a "big part" in the Avengers sequel. Not to mention that Joss wrote one of the best X-Men comic book runs in 'Astonishing X-Men' #1-50.


It's pretty easy to figure out who's going to be the better Quicksilver/Pietro.

I like Johnson, especially after that interview a few months back when the rumors of him being Quicksilver were first appearing. IIRC he talked about the character and how he might not be suited for the role because of his hair, which I thought was pretty funny.

There is nothing great about Savages.

I really liked it. Benicio Del Toro as the bad guy was great, Aaron Taylor and Taylor Kitsch had some good chemistry and Salma Hayek was pretty funny as the boss.
