Upon more research it seems basically NONE of the original designers have anything to do with monster designs anymore. Basically Satoshi was the guy who approved of the designs and the team was made of 4 people. He stopped in 3rd gen I think. I don't think Satoshi does anything anymore and is more like the Miyamoto of GF, after D/P I believe we lost every last original designer.

I was suggesting my friend try and join the team because his Japanese and art skills are so good and he's over there now. But after finding this out I wonder if he would decide against it.

I want to catch all 649 pokemon and experience as many stories as possible. Currently playing HG, Next up I plan to play Platinum and then Black and Black 2 and then trade everything up to Black 2 and fill in the remaining Pokedex.

Few questions

Anway to batch trade up to B2?, the idea of catching hundreds of useless pokemon to trade sounds nightmareish.

Is this the optimal way to A. Complete a living pokedex and B. Experience as much of the story as possible?

I don't believe there's a batch way to trade unfortunately

I'm just about to finish the elite 4 in black and then starting soul sliver / platinum, the thought of trading them all to black - > black 2 makes me very sad

They are giving them to Pokemon that need them, as well as fan-favourites. Best of both worlds.

Transferring from Gen 4 to 5 involves sending over pokemon 6 at a time, so that alleviates some of the workload. But, amazingly, we don't have a batch trade option. Hopefully they include that in the PokeTransporter.

Can you just transfer them with a3ds or do I need two systems? Was thinking about doing a complete poked ex in x/y

We don't know how Fairy is going to affect the likes of Garchomp and Tyranitar, though. They could easily have been displaced from former positions of dominance. However, I believe that it's primarily a marketing thing.

See, when Farfetch'd appears, your opponent has become very fortunate because they can kill it almost instantly and they now have an advantage over you.

Absol is one of my favorite Hoenn Pokemon after the Ralts line. And Abomasnow would probably be more popular if it weren't for the 4x weakness to fire.
