Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster - 12/26 Japanese release (for real this time)

This is great news. Very happy to hear of a Vita double pack for the same price as the PS3 release too.

It releases the same day as Zelda: A link between worlds in Japan. I'll just add the FFX/X2 Vita double pack to my Zelda preorder and have myself a very happy Holiday.

fug it, VI and VIII LEs as well

uuuh....FFVI themed iphones you mean ? Haven't heard of vita HD versions ;P

So this is for real this time around? Is this officially confirmed? I can't read Japanese.

Can't wait for HC's playthrough. He has been waiting for so long and reconsidered multiple times whether he should just start with the old version.

Glad he waited.

They're STILL doing this released first in Japan crap ?! It's 2013 !! AND it's $40 for just one of the games ?!

Looks like I'm not playing this anytime soon. They missed their chance when I didn't have a PS4.
I still want to play it really badly. I'm just bitter.

You know Japanese game prices are often quite a bit higher than the eventual North American MSRP, right?

(I'm not European or Australian so I cannot comment on the inflated prices there compared to Japan's inflated prices.)

Give it to me Square. Give it to me right now.

Wish this was the art for the special FFX Vita. I'd buy it in a heartbeat. The art they used is disgusting.

Awesome, does the VITA also Remote Play with the PS3 like the PSP does? It would be Badass to remote play my ACC:FFVII PS3 with my FFX/X-2 PSVita lol

Yes it does! :)

Hopefully Asia ver. is the same day so I can experience superior "laugh" scene for the first time.

Oh god please have a digital version on day one Square Enix.

Really hope NA gets a nice limited edition, hopefully 14's collectors edition showed them "WE LOVE THE CONCEPT ART COVERS"

Maybe if we type big enough they will see it.

Not by double. Usually it's moving the decimal over 2 places and rounding up or down to the closest $10 increment. Vita games are $40 a piece. So, $80 for both. Screw that.

No, they actually do fluctuate quite a bit, much more than ours do. There are a lot of Vita games going for the upper ¥5000 range, like Project Diva, One Piece Pirate Warriors 2, and Gundam Breaker. P4G was ¥7900. Ours don't even come close to that. $24.99 each or $40 bundle seems more likely.

Is this the first PS2 port for Vita that has had content changed?

I hope the reason it took so long to get out was because they were making it good.

If SE's work on the remaster of KH is any indication, then the Vita port should be really good. I certainly hope so.

So Last Mission and Eternal Calm officially confirmed.

Is that Vita Double pack with the system coming to the US? And which screen does that Vita have? OLED or the new screen?

I'm hoping for $20 each digitally. $25 is worse but still doable. $30 is my threshold. Not touching a bundle that includes FFX so higher than $30 is a no go.

They are making novels?
Final Fantasy X-2.5 ~Eien no Daishô~ (tentative title) probably is a novel, yeah. The other books are Ultimanias (yay!).

The "international" versions always have Japanese text.
I seem to remember there was an option for English text in Final Fantasy X International though.

"Daishô" doesn't mean "calm", silly Gematsu.

I hope so. I know a lot of people that really want this game. But, I seriously doubt they want it $80 a lot. I know I don't. Also, there's reverse importing to factor in if they are too much lower. I know Japan is paranoid at least with Anime about that kind of stuff.
