Pokemon X and Y SPOILER Discussion Thread

Just wanted to say that I used an Adamant Ditto with an Everstone and bred with my Haxorus and got an Adamant Axew - so I assume 100% success rate like in B2/W2.

Just need to find me a Timid and Modest Ditto. Need to find a Pokémon with Flame Body too.

Where can you find Ditto?

Pokémon Village.

They're just under level 50 though so you'll want to go there late game I think.

Using a level 66 Absol to False Swipe and then Thunder Wave them for an Ultra Ball catch.

Neat. I know people will complain but I see this as an extension of the worldwide release to keep as many surprises as possible.

I got a question about Aegislash, idk if anyone is gonna know.

When it's in it's Sword Form, it's Defensive stats become its Offensive stats. So would a nature that increases Defense wind up increasing it's Attack in Sword Form?

Thanks. Doesn't matter to me if I have to go there late game, I don't really breed until post-game anyway.
 
I want a male fire lion and i keep getting females. stupid rng.
 
I meant more in terms of ease of catching with the late game comment really. They're not easy to catch at that level after all and after a transform they can be pretty aggressive.

Fair enough. Could just have them transform into Magikarp or something I guess. If it's like Gen V it won't affect the catch rate but at least it won't be threatening.

Last time I caught a Ditto for breeding use was in Pearl and I don't think the Everstone thing existed then - or maybe I just didn't know about it.

Oh, yeah. absolutely. There's always been a steadfast refusal to acknowledge the event legendaries until Game Freak is good and ready, so keeping the surprise is absolutely a good thing.

Indeed, I think it's reasonably likely that Game Freak add more than just event legendaries this time out...

That's good to know. Though it wouldn't hurt to see a screen comparison of before and after to have an idea. Like for example if Aggron also gets an sp def boost .

And failing that... feed it a Poke Puff.

The Sun Dial is related to Mega Stones :)

Teach it a Fairy-type move and level it up. Seemingly Baby-Doll Eyes won't work so Charm is your next best bet

It's not just leveling it up once, I got a Lv22 Japanese Eevee from Wonder trade REALLY EARLY ON (before got 1st badge) with Baby Doll Eyes, and around the time it got to Lv25 I got the affection bar to 2 (so not max like others are posting) in Pokemon-amie and after it leveled up once again I got Sylveon.

EDIT: Apparently Affection may not matter since it could be max Friendship. Either way, it's not just a Fairy type move + Level Up. :P
 
I personally love the lack of legendaries this gen. Hey flooded the market with them the last couple gens, made being a legendary pretty meaningless.

I feel the endgame sucks right now too. Basically nothing to do but EV train stuff and breed, grind Pokémon League for Gold/Experience too.

Zygarde I haven't caught yet though, that's something to do.

More interested in the fashion side right now. Apparently shops have different stuff every day? Damn.

Did anyone playing around with Pokemon-Aime?

I noticed that level 4 heart gave me boosted exp, chance to dodge the attacks, and sometime break out of negative status, so anyone know more information on it?
