There is no really reason to lock the game at 30FPS on PC.
They ether have some really retarded programmers that don't know how to program game logic correctly or some twat (in the dev team or higher up at EA) that lives in a console only bubble and does not understand what is common in PC gaming decided that gamers do not need 60FPS or that it would be "unfair" for the PC version to be better than the console versions or some other retarded BS.
There is no valid excuse for a game like this not being able to support what just about every other PC game does!
And apparently some of us PC gamers that actually get annoyed at the elitists (as you could see worded by my last post) don't count in the generalization that all PC gamers are annoying and exempt on here.
Games are for entertainment, not to go to war over.

You're really reaching if you think PS4 isn't superior to Xbone as far as HW. It has not as much to do with some deal as it does for the same reasons the 360 versions were shown. Easy of getting things running and how good it looks. I know I would want to demo a near PC identical version of a game vs an inferior looking one.
That being said, you will see and are currently seeing plenty of demos being shown for PS4 and there are a few being shown on Xbone. That should please some but seeing these kinds of statements rings the facts home about PS4 being more powerful. Never was in doubt unless you look at certain threads which regurgitate the same old points.

That's the thing though, you at a time made a post that was in favor of PC gaming and BAM you're part of the elitist crowd that shits on all those ''plebs''.
I could make the same dumb arguments as those specific posters do and say that ''lately'' i see alot more people complaining about these so called elitists then i do pc gamers shitting on console gamers, many times it just seems that when someone says something positive about a platform it's immediately misunderstood by followers of the opposite platform.
It is just a sad state of affairs and all this next-gen console hype isn't helping.

The only thing i will say in this case relating to this thread is that when a game is purposely dumbed down on pc because the developer is either incompetent or EA's an ass that alot of pc gamers take that pretty personal, double for me cause i also have a soft spot for the series.

I think ultimately people only care about their platform of choice and all they want is that platform to be utilised to it's fullest. If I'm buying a PS4 for $400, I don't have delusions of a $400 console performing at the level of a $2000 PC. As long as I know the developers pushed my console to it's limits then I'm happy

He's correlating something from the past when it has nothing to do with the present. I don't care what happened on PS2 but it should be no surprise why the PS4 versions of games are being demoed over Xbone. If that hurts feelings then so what.

Huh? Did the article claim the game will look exactly the same on all PCs? It's an opinion piece based on what they saw. May be that PC wasn't as cool as the monster rig you might have.

Many times that's how pc gamers feel about their choice of platform, i'm personally not crazy enough to think pc will get the same treatment but for a game to be made worse on pc because is just pure lunacy.

What EA did or has appeared to do to the PC port of this game is a travesty of the highest level. I agree with that to the fullest assuming it releases as it is now
And PC gamers have every right to complain about that. I see no logical reason why you would lock the framerate of a PC game although I'm not that technical but it still doesn't make sense to me
PC should have superior multiplats, it just makes logical sense assuming you have the hardware to power it
Just take some issue with the hyperbole stuff but clearly I misunderstood how its taken here

Agree with Nethaniah's argument. Framerate locking on PC seems like a weird and unfair thing to do. I can understand the absence of anything special for PC or lack of optimizations because it wasn't the lead platform, but a framerate lock seems like a deliberate and arbitrary impediment. People will eventually unlock it anyway!
Yeah but then that fix might not work for online or will get you banned and that will result in an even bigger backlash, everyone fucking loses why don't publishers get this.

I honestly don't get that.
They say that the online is so complex that to give a satisfactory experience they found it best to lock it at 30fps.
In essence, not a totally rubbish excuse (though it totally is) one might think but what about 5 years into the future? Better hardware? Game still locked at 30fps though.
I still haven't found a 100% completely official statement regarding the 30fps on the pc version though so i'm gonna hold out hope that this might just be miscommunication and they were just talking about the next-gen console version but who knows.

I watched it and came to the same conclusion. Does the game look good - yes. Does it look like an UP RES'D version of a 360 game? Yes and that is my issue. I'm seeing a lot of this from EA and it's annoying. I'm looking for non up res'd. Examples - ryse, KZ, etc. I just think this type of game is acceptable now b/c it's launch but don't tell me this is next gen graphics.

I really hope the DS4 can be used on a PC wirelessly. I've heard nothing but high praise for it, but what really sealed the deal is when my brother told me about it. He played both the PS4 and the Xbox One at Eurogamer. He told me the DS4 fits like a glove and is simply the best controller he has used; even better than the 360 pad.

Fair enough. I think the reason people responded the way they did was because you said it looked like a 360 game. An up res'd 360 game is a fair statement to make. Though I don't entirely agree, it isn't as outrageous a thing to say.
As you said, it is a launch title. And it definitely gets a pass grade from me.
