Pokémon XY |OT2| Would you like to leave a tip?

I have some Charmanders with Solar Power and a Modest nature for anyone interested. I've accumulated a few as I'm trying to breed a Shiny. I also have some Modest females, but they only know Blaze.

I'm not particularly picky as they're more of a giveaway, but if you had an Eevee with Anticipation or a Froakie with Protean, that'd be pretty neat. Would save me the hassle of trying to find them myself.
 
Beat the Elite Four with my level 92 Delphox. I've never had a Pokemon this high on my first clear, but I never really had to use anything else for the majority of the game (other than ethers).

Wouldn't mind the solar power charmander, but I only have Frogadier sadly. :/

If anyone cares, you can farm damp rocks if your in a cave area and a battle seen gives a dripping rock in the background. You just need to use a move that reaches it. The only one I know for sure is surf, though.

I would fly to Laverre, check the east and south routes. If nothing, fly to Ambrette and check east and north. If nothing, fly to Laverre. Repeat. Those are the two areas that seem predisposed to having rain more so than the rest.
 
Just want to let you guys/girls know that you can catch the legendary birds. Just random encountered an articuno by the day care center. Of course it fled from me sadly :(
 
The real question is where I can catch my legendary bird? I've encountered "him" four times in the wild now.

Edit: haha, well that explains it.

I used my master ball on Palkia in Pearl because I assumed it would be as tough to catch as every other legendary in the history of the franchise.
 
Check Cyllage City and Couriway Town too. It rains there often also.

You have to surf there. It is in the top left corner in the Town Map.

Oh ok, thanks. Another question: this is my first time breeding ever and the guy keeps on telling me my pokemon do not get along, will they still breed or does that mean that it will not happen?

If the guy says "they prefer to play with other Pokemon" then that means they won't breed together, so whatever 2 Pokemon you have are fine. It will just lower the chance of an egg appearing every 255 steps, but that's hardly noticeable when riding a bike back and forth waiting for an egg.

Also, make sure to keep a Pokemon with the Flame Body or Magma Armor ability. It halves the time to make the egg hatch. Fletchinder (and Talonflame) have the ability.
 
Was the Yvelsiodufsdfj (Y Legendary) supposed to be easy to catch? It was only down to 1/4 of it's health, I threw 2 Pokeballs and caught it. I had harder times trying to catch that Snorlax even using Great Balls and whatever >__>

Hate to ask, but you do not know where I can get Fletchrider do you? OR does it evolve from Fletchling?

Like my original post says, all I really have on offer is Charmanders with Solar Power just a standard one with Blaze. The Blaze ones do have Dragon Pulse and Dragon Dance though. :P

I also think I have some spare Adamant Scythers if you're interested.
 
Btw, I seem to get hidden ability mons randomly in Friend Safari.

I visited a safari by an online friend (or at least, it's the person - stupid game doesn't tell if the person is online) and I didn't get any HA mons.

I would like both lol. Would you want a Gooey Goomy? I also have a spare Japanese Ditto with some perfect IVs that I no longer need.
 
Is anyone willing to trade a Magneton that has a Modest Nature & the ability Magnet Pull?

After looking at the Lost Hotel for several hours, I've only been able to find Magneton's that have the Sturdy Ability & are Lax in Nature, and I'm just getting fed up after 7 hours of searching.

Yes, box legendary have a lower catch rate since gen 4, barring Giratina, Lugia, Ho-Oh and Kyurem.
 
Thanks for the Friend Safari/Destiny Knot/Everstone methods... I now have a legit, no RNG needed Timid Serene Grace Togepi with 31/?/31/31/31/31 IVs.

Where do you catch Skarmory? It seems like the trees on Victory Road spawn only Fearow. I've been trying on the little side path where you get the Psyshock TM
