I don't exactly understand the benefits of the Mega Evolutions. Do they bring stat benefits? Is there any reason I shouldn't use them at all times? What are the differences between the X and Y unique Mega Evolutions?

Stat differences, and in some cases, type changes/gains and ability changes.

I was hooked on Wonder Trade since I got a Japanese Eevee before the first gym and a French female Wobbuffet.

It's silly and random, but I love it, and it gives me a place to toss my breeding extras like when I'm breeding starters.

Took me about 20 tries to find a Piloswine with thick fat (only found 2 without it until then) and then I found two in a row. Both female too. Shit natures though.

Not sure but definitely super train it, thats the most important thing. You also have to pick between slowbro or slowking i thought slowbrow evolves to slowking but it doesn't.
Choose wisely

slowpoke evolves at 37 to slowbro

slowpoke evolves with kings rock trade to slowking

If you go to options in GTS, you can turn off people requesting legendaries. It's a huge improvement.

Fuckers want legendaries for pretty much everything. I just wanted another Talonflame and even for those you get utterly laughable demands, not to mention impossible ones.

Well I just excluded "Special Pokémon" from the trades, and it helps a heck of a lot!

Also, Fletchinder has Flame Body as well.

Iirc Slowbrow is Defenseive while Slowking is Special Defensive

Make sure one of the parents is Adamant and holding an Everstone to ensure the nature carries over.

No, it was female only for passing down hidden abilities, but that changed this gen to include both genders.

For natures, just have an everstone on the parent with the nature you want passed.

Everytime I try to do a GTS trade, I get an error and have to restart the game. Is there a way to fix this?

After six hours of hatching, stat checking, and then breeding more, I finally have an Eevee with six perfect IVs.

Now I only have to super train it. And Amie it. And level it. And then I have to do it five more times with different pokemon.

It'll all be worth it though I hope.
