Personally I always play with a full team. Expshare was off except on victory road because I always have to grind there and it's annoying
Also cheated without knowing because I kept Honedge with me at all times and he can destroy a lot of gyms by himself.
No Megaevo either.

That's what I love about Pokémon games, no two play through are ever the same as you had Honedge who helped you breeze through the gym whereas I didn't.

Breeding for a good set of IVs really seems much easier in this game than previously thanks to Friend Safari and Destiny Knot. Was just messing around with a Drought Vulpix I had and didn't take me more than a couple hours to get max IVs in everything except strength just breeding around with different Dittos.

Really enjoying now having to spend hours and hours just to get these IVs. Now I just need to become more stylish so I can hatch eggs faster.

I think you can turn it on and off. No need to give to a Pokémon as it's a Key Item.

I used the super training to find the soothe bags (the pink ones). I used 4 of those, the leveled him up once and that's all it took, it takes some patiences to find the bags since there random. Azumarill is a dragon slayer though with the ability huge power and the fairy move play rough.
