Synopsis:
Marvel’s “Thor: The Dark World” continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. Just saw it tonight.

Was good, not as good as the first and on-par with Cap America 1.

Some amazing bits/story spoilers though and one of the best cameos in the Marvel movies.

If you want to do this make a spoiler thread. Not trying to sound like a dick, but eventually spoilers will be unmarked by someone carelessly.
 
I was supposed to do the OP, but it's all good.

I'm excited for this one. More Thor and Loki is good. I'm hoping Natalie Portman's given better material to work with this time. She wasn't terrible as an actress in the first one, but her character was pretty thinly written.
 
There are NO spoilers in this, just impressions.

It's a good film, just not a great one. The Marvel humor is there, the set-pieces and the amazing VFX are still there. The story is bland (besides some surprising moments), the score is bland and secondary characters (all 2 of them!) have no meaning and have maybe 1 or 2 lines each.

Tom Hiddleston and Chris are the stand outs by far. Hopkins feels as if he's phoning it in as does Portman (considering she didn't want to be in it, it doesn't surprise me.

In short, watch it once and maybe once again before Avengers 2 comes out.

UK premier was held in the Cinema I work at. Same way I saw Iron Man 3 so early.

Also this may throw my opinions out the windows, most people disagreed with my opinion on Iron Man 3 which I loved. So there's that.
 
Not hyped for this at all and I loved the phase 1 movies. IM3 and SHIELD really burnt a bridge with me. The trailers just aren't doing it for me, and three Loki movies in 3 years doesn't help.

If you were looking to a Marvel movie to reverse that you were looking in the wrong direction. Personally, I really liked Rush. Gravity is supposed to be great too.

A Marvel Studios production indeed. I predict the next non-garbage movie from these people will be Avengers 2.

Man, portman and avengers probably ruined the series. Considering they were hinting in the first one that he'd have a hard time getting back to the earth realm. Wasted such a perfect ending.

Oh come on now. Let's make this a full-circle level 5 perfect shit storm. Compare it to Batman movies.
 
One day everyone is going to start all these Marvel movies because how overstated it is now. Its basically like the COD of movies.

I wish Marvel/Disney could just wrap all the stories up and be done with it...but MONEY is everything nowadays. How many Avenger/Marvels do we need? plus a TV Show?!
 
First one was good, although I liked Captain America better. Not sure if I'll see this one on the theater or not.

Captain America was terrible. I hope this isn't really on-par with that.
