So I spent today breeding a 5 IV Pokemon that I'm not sure what to do with... I didn't realize how much hurt Steel types received so far.

Where is everyone getting these dittos from? I have two days searching for one with at least 2 good IVs and no luck. Non of the people on my friend safari have any dittos :(

Well there's your problem. You need to find someone who has a Ditto Safari, who's not already full on friends. It helps a ton.

Mine is to build 1 perfect competitively viable Pokemon per day.

Helps to build other teams.

And even if you don't like the Nature or IVs of the Ditto you receive, you can just put it on the GTS for a different one. All the Ditto I put on are taken within thirty seconds.

I'll probably shift to that after Pokedex completion (or at least the Kalos dex). I'm glad they've made breeding a lot easier at least, but I tend to get bored doing that during an entire play session.

Ah I wrote that on my phone. Makes no sense. Just use the same type as I had in that order and you'll be sweet. Make sure you use the XP O powers. (I'm assuming the pokemon are the same for everyone you fight)

Yup. Because you need to kill 3 Pokemon vs 2 Pokemon. If you're lucky you'll get Audinos. I was getting 10k XP from level 63 ones.

Ugh, I really hate that you get disconnected from the Internet if you press the Home button. Hopefully Game Freak fixes this with the next game.

How do people go about getting near-perfect Dittos anyway? You can't breed them, right? Do you just catch a million of them and pray?
 
Where's the best place to gain experience post-game?

I have a bunch of pokemon that I want to level up and evolve for the dex, but I can't seem to find anywhere that gives decent XP.

I don't like running the E4 again due to having a team of 2 regulars and 4 puny pokemon to evolve, and I've been battling at the Battle Chateau every day, but the levels of the trainers are still only around Lv20.

Victory Road wild encounters just aren't good enough either.
 
Caught my first shiny in RaGNaRoK 2k5's safari, a Camerupt!

It has been years since I caught my last shiny pokemon, and having one of a pokemon I actually like is awesome.
Its ability is Solid Rock, but unfortunately it has a brave nature. Still, its SP.Atck and SP.Dfns IVs are perfect according to the judge. Its speed IV is really bad, but considering its nature I doubt that matters much.

I managed to catch a ditto with four perfect IVs the other day.. Out of over a hundred. I'm not even sure it's possible to catch one with five perfect IVs..

IMO, a Ditto with 2-3 perfect IVs is more than enough. You catch few of them with different perfect IVs and start breeding the IVs you like through a bracelet, then when the Pokemon has 3 perfect IVs you can start with the Destiny Knot until you get your desired IV spread.

You mostly don't need a Ditto with 4-5 perfect IVs, because once you get a breeded Pokemon with 3-5 perfect IVs, you just use that instead of a Ditto.
 
Just got a female Riulu in wonder trade with 3 perfect IVs in HP, defense and speed. Now to evolve it an pass it down. Probably gonna do it sometime tomorrow since I'm dead tired and have to wake up in a few hours
