I've been finding them to be pretty equal so far, I desperately want a Shiny Sharpedo though because I have memories of a purple Sharpedo on Pokemon Ruby when I was about 9!

Does anyone else feeling like inflicting harm on certain Pokemon? I don't know why but I get this surging temptation to punch the wild Frogadier in friend safari, or punt them at least. Especially when they jump out of Pokeballs. They've just got this really punchable nerd type look to them. I've never felt this way before

I want to know which Pokemon is good for what. I have some favorites I would like to use competitively, but it would be dumb, if it turns out they're all sweepers. Can someone provide me with a link where Pokemon are sorted by "classes".

Gonna train a Sylveon. I've looked up some strats and there have been some different options, but I'm thinking about going a bit offensive while EV training it in HP as well to make it bulky. I honestly have no idea what team I want to build, but I just want to mess up people with Sylveon.
I stumbled upon that mon yesterday and had no idea it was event specific. I killed it on accident... do I have to try again next Tuesday???

I caught 2 (and the level 1 ones on GTS indicate it can be bred), and also that bin bag Pokemon which starts bad design debates.
I"m thinking of going full bulk sylveon with a wish set like vaporeon.

Damn, this game is beautiful. I've been taking my time with it and just reached Route 14 / Laverre City and I'm just floored by the area design. Also you guys weren't kidding about it picking up the pace. It's taken me like two thirds of the time it took me from badge 1 til 2 to get to 6. It's almost a shame the story is about to end, but I can't say I haven't enjoyed it and it's still pretty decently long if you take your time like I am.

Third day and still no perfect Froakie I don't know if I can do this for Goomy once I finish Froakie.

A team of all sweepers is a legit strategy (I believe it's known as 'heavy offense'). You only really need two defensive Pokémon on a team, anyway.
As for what 'class' your Pokémon are, check their stats. High Attack/Special Attack and Speed - sweeper, and so on. Balanced Pokémon can go either way.

What I usually do if I find it frustrating is take a break from a pokemon that isn't cooperating.
You could also try looking at the parents and see if you can find two of different genders with like stats. Say you have a male with 31 in HP, Attack, Special Attack, and Speed and a female with Attack, Defense, Special Attack, and Speed. Breeding those two will make it more likely to get Five perfect stats. You won't be using Masuda method anymore for increased shiny chance, but sometimes it's best to just give it up.
Yea, this is what i'm using right now:
male - hp, atk, def, sp atk, sp def - 5 ivs
female - hp, sp atk, sp def, spd - 4 ivs
Female Froakie's are almost impossible to get, so I was lucky to get that one with 4 iv's
I actually just edited my last post because I finally got a perfect Froakie, yet it has Torrent instead of Protean. Can I breed a Torrent male with a Protean female and get Protean Froakie's or will they all be torrent since the male is torrent?
Is Cryognogal a special poke, too? It is the last one I need to catch before the mammoth task of evolving / breeding to complete the dex, but cannot find it in the frost cavern anywhere.

In the Summary screen, a red star on the left means its a shiny. All pokemon seem to have the blue pentagon. Anyone know what the purple smiley face marking that's in-between indicates? I got my first one from Froakie breeding.
Not sure how up to date it is with X/Y, but I always go to Smogon to get an idea. Look up your mon, then scroll down to the different builds.
If it's what I think you're talking about, the face indicates that they've been cured of Pokerus (but still gain the bonus EVs) and can't be infected again.

You might as well go with a Bold nature if you aren't investing any EVs in special defense. Sylveon could probably use the defense boost too.

I think babies have an 80% chance of inheriting their mother's ability, so you're probably in the clear.
I can't stand breeding for perfect IVs though, so I usually stop short at "Oustanding" with three or four of the most important perfect ones. That's how I got my ideal Protean Froakie (Hasty with perfect Attack, Sp Attack and Speed) withot going crazy in the process ;P

Every time you tip £1000, the truck in Red/Blue moves a single pixel along. After it moves to the end of the area, Mew will appear and transfer to your copy of X and Y automatically.

Yea you can. If you breed a male with a female of the same species, then the ability of the male parent is ignored and will only come from the female parent.
Hidden Abilities have a 60% chance of being passed on to the child.

I loved the game and spent 50 hours before beating the Elite 4 but I'm struggling in starting to breed and train, for the Maison and Online. I keep thinking about the Army of trained monsters I have in my Gen V copies Wish transfer could be done sooner.
Though maybe I should just train new Pokemon. And I should be looking for Dittos as I'm not sure the perfect ones I have in my previous games are legal, lol.

Welp, I finally did it last night.
And here is the horrible team I did it with:
My team ranged from levels 70-78 when I went in. Diggersby happened to be my HM slave and actually helped me a whole lot.
Now I can begin making an actual team. I'll have to hunt down someone with Ditto in their Friend Safari, though.

Yes it will be added, but the dates will be wrong (it will all be on the same day you synced up). Game Sync is really useful because you can buy some great stuff in the Pokemiles store like Rare Candies. Sadly you will never be able to get them in game because the server will fail over and over again.
