How the fuck do you confuse this for this:
This looks amazing, for current gen imo -

The constant negativity towards next gen games here on Gaf may of lowered my expectations.
How the fuck do you confuse this for this:
In the couple months I've been on this forum I've gone from being relatively excited to upgrade to an XB1 to being completely deflated and uninterested in keeping either of my next gen pre-orders anymore.
Excellent work GAF, I hate video games.
No one prefers 720p, no one.
No one prefers 720p, no one.
Maybe the game isn't that demanding and both systems can run it perfectly well. The PS4 version probably just looks better at the moment so they decided to show that one to the press.
Just keep a clear head and don't jump on that train and you'll be fine. I read GAF everyday and still excited about my preorder.
In a hurry to get the systems so all this stuff can die down.
If the game isn't really pushing either console then you probably won't see much if any difference (and it probably isn't pushing either console if its running at 60fps and 1080p).
There will probably be loads of multiplatform games like this next gen.
Could it be that the XB1 versions are running 4K/60fps and they don't show it so Sony is not embarrassed? hmmm...I might be onto something
No way sports games will show differences, they never do.

NBA 2K14 will run at native 1080p resolution at 60 frames-per-second on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
The news was confirmed to IGN today by Visual Concepts executive vice president Jeff Thomas at a next-gen NBA 2K14 event in San Francisco.
NBA 2K14 will be a launch title for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and is currently available for pre-order. For more on whats new, be sure to read our review of the current-gen version.
As someone who's buying PS4, I think there's plenty to be excited about for XB1. Controller looks fantastic, and launch lineup is without question superior with the loss of driveclub.
Yes that can be very true but I was under the impression this game might be somewhat graphically promising. Perhaps I read too much into it *shrug*
Again, PS4 has 33 games by the end of the year. Driveclub meant little to nothing in the grand scheme of things. It'll strengthen the early 2014 lineup and be better for the delay.

These games are launching soon. Shouldn't they all have gone gold by now?
Waving that flag? nice edit.
Is this gonna be a recurring theme throughout this gen?

If true, and both versions are identical, then they held back on PS4 or downgraded it, simple as that.
lol I love it. Hey why isn't this a 60 page thread? Where are all the people laughing and stuff.
You guys are disappointed eh?
In Aegeis we trust

I wonder what sacrifices they made to get it to run in 1080p on Xbox1.![]()

You realise that not every next gen game is going to be pushing both consoles hard don't you?, its only then when you will see some major differences. Christ.
I hope this is a joke.
I know I said that people would say that if multiplatform games end up looking the same on both consoles in that Need For Speed thread but I honestly didn't expect it pretty much word for word (lol). Oh man... ::sigh::

Considering that NBA 2K14 is the one of the best if not best looking next gen games I've seen, I'm going to remain skeptical on this one. It's pushing one thing or another, that's for sure.
It looks amazing but its still only a basketball game. I literaly was playing Fight Night Round 3 today on the 360, a launch game that still looks amazing even today, i couldn't believe it.
