Also, the face-off moment (which looks fantastic) suggests that the emotional moments like those around the Helghan bodyguard in Mercenary are being worked in here as well. That's a very good thing.

how is xray vision useless in a game where you can shoot through certain walls?
 
I'm getting a halo odst vibe from the gameplay in a good way. I despise the other killzone games but this looks very solid. This or bf4? I don't know.
 
This has actually became my most wanted nextgen game. Generally only loses to GT6. Possibilities :D GG should let players disable certain functions from sp tLoU style, but no a biggie if not.
 
This game looks boring wtf all u do is go around and shoot people with guns? Lulz ok and then you have some weird technology that doesn't exist? Zipper lines and destructible environments? It's already been done in other games, boring. Lol nice try but this game is a joke. I'll buy it used in a year to teach them a lesson to not release horrible games. U lose ps4

Well no shit, Sherlock. This is one of the three first party titles launching on the PS4 (the console I was interested in) over a significant degree of time, and it looks terrible. The other two looking equally as uninteresting. Of course third party support is bad across the board for both systems, so if anything this just reduces my chances of buying a new console.

The level of detail for faces and facial animation isn't always consistent, but even this isn't bad considering the scope of these levels.
 
This looks like fun. I've not played a KZ game before and normally am not into FPS games besides a select few. However, the stealth elements are appealing in this one, and the atmosphere also does more for me compared to previous KZ games (based on videos).
 
Graphics look amazing, although the facial animations could have been mocapped better, if they are mocapped.

The single player game will prob. have multiple difficulty levels. Also most competitive/gameplay focused FPS is multiplayer, not single player. Single player has been getting less and less focus in FPS as time goes on.
 
Facial animations do look really janky. The previous full-animated facial techniques they used looked considerably more realistic

I'm happy to tell you that the PS4 will also be available for purchase after the launch period. Furthermore developers will continue to make titles for the machine increasing the game library.

I think KZS look fantastic and I'm really looking forward to the new more thoughtful mechanics.
 
The scene at 2.35 is very beautiful, looks much better than any current gen games.

The facial animations are crap though, jeez, it reminds me of half life 2, which had good animations for 2004-2005, not for 2013.
edit: theres some really low res shadows in the indoor scenes as well

Yep, makes it look like the game is running really poorly. I speculated above that it might be because it's 35-40 fps gameplay being encoded to 30 fps video, but I'm not sure if that would make it look this stuttery.
