Bugs eat leaves to they beat grass, they bug people so they have trouble concentrating so bug beats Psychic, and... they can see in the dark so they beat dark.

They live in the dirt so they resist ground...How they interact with poison and steel is bananas. And I cannot for the life of me remember what Fairy resists or what resists Fairy because it's all nonsense.
 
Looking for any and all battle mates.

My team ain't getting enough exercise and I just realized that Sub gliscor walls me hard so I need to see if the new move arrangement is worth it.

Ha ha. If it makes you feel any better, getting a shiny was not part of my plan at all. I just wanted those IVs!

Actually, that probably doesn't make you feel better.

Can't wait to EV train this bad boy and chuck my Absolite on it!

Oh, Bug does kill Psychic. I thought it did.

Fairy makes sense as far as Dragon goes (dragons fall to magic, of course), but the rest is just nonsense and obviously chosen with balancing in mind. Not that I'm complaining: I've felt for a while that Poison is a type that gets the short end of the stick for no good reason.
 
So how do I keep track of the EVs I'm pumping into this shiny Absol? Will they just stop doing anything once I reach 252?

I always wonder why the hell Grass beats Water. Makes no sense at all, yet is integral to the first, what, half an hour of every single title?!

Poison and Steel makes more sense if you treat Fairy as a psuedo- "Noble" or "Light" type. The most common ways for a noble warrior to die (in stories) is by sickness/assassination (poison) or in battle (swords - steel).

This interpretation also explains the relationship with the dark type although doesn't really explain the fighting type relation.

Train perfect Bagon first and then continue breeding for shiny if you want.

Pretty soon people online will often just assume your shiny's hacked, anyways, since the new file format for the pokemon has been cracked.
 
So earlier I was going into my ditto box to pick one out for breeding chespin, and I swear one of them turned into a quagsire.

I think it was just me swapping pokemon b/w boxes without remembering where the other one went, but it was funny as fuck because they have the exact same facial expression, and it was level 30 like the dittos because it was from the friend safari.

Steel and poison are man made stuff ruining nature.

Fighting and dark types tend to be based on humans; fighters and ninjas. Without technology they are prey to fairies.

There's multiple interpretations. You'd be spouting complete bullshit if you said that Light/Dark duality had nothing to do with the type's inspiration.

And since when is Togekiss nature? It's moreso an angel than anything of nature.

I still want my Ghost/Fairy Valkyrie pokemon.

I've read that, but the odds remain quite low.


I might try to do that with my hawlucha - I saw the shiny version in the GTS and I like the way it looks and I have no issues with grinding plus the nephews dig all of the stuff I'm sending.

next I have to read up on breeding with a purpose - pokemon attributes and such.

I thought to myself that Fairy beats Fighting because love conquers war. Poison beats fairy because that's how Goku died in future Trunks's world.

I did manage to get a Yveltal by putting up an Excadrill.
I think someone else said they got some from putting up Scizors.
 
Oh, you guys haven't heard the news yet? The Pokecheck guys figured it out when working on updating Pokecheck for Gen VI. Project Pokemon updated with the news... earlier today, I'm pretty sure. The documentation's up, too, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link it here.

They almost certainly used wireless techniques to figure things out since the 3DS hasn't been cracked yet.

EDIT: The game itself has not been hacked.
