Does not sound worth it.
I wish there was a way to just release the regular ones in mass. The idea of having to deal with 1000+ by the end somehow is even more discouraging to me.
You take that back.

The Bug matchups are all fucking impossible to remember. I know Fire and Flying kill them, but beyond that it's a blur.
They can kill Dark, right? And Grass. But not Ghost or Psychic. ...Ugh, who uses Bug types anyway
Bugs eat grass leaves
Psychics fear three things: Ghosts, Darkness, and Bugs (creepy crawlers)
Early bird gets the worm... Fly>Bug
Bug vs poison... I guess insecticide.
vs fighting, ghost, steel, fairy... IDK
Ha ha. If it makes you feel any better, getting a shiny was not part of my plan at all. I just wanted those IVs!Congratulations, looks pretty cool.
That said, 40 eggs. 40 fucking eggs.
*looks at his own 240 Hawluchas
40 eggs.
Stop reminding me please. I don't want to know how much more time I'll have to waste. ;-)
Yes, about 1:1400.
Probably just preference, but to me that is one ugly mofo![]()
Sure, if you wanna ignore the first two times where I didn't even get a chance to use my full party (the 2nd time, Galvantula did most of the work).Kappa
Good games. Next time when you face me, I might be dropping my gimmicky Baton Pass Vaporeon/Sylveon combo.
I have finished my team!!!Almost...
Bugs eat leaves to they beat grass, they bug people so they have trouble concentrating so bug beats Psychic, and... they can see in the dark so they beat dark.
They live in the dirt so they resist ground...How they interact with poison and steel is bananas. And I cannot for the life of me remember what Fairy resists or what resists Fairy because it's all nonsense.
Let's fight!
I always wonder why the hell Grass beats Water. Makes no sense at all, yet is integral to the first, what, half an hour of every single title?!Oh, Bug does kill Psychic. I thought it did.
Fairy makes sense as far as Dragon goes (dragons fall to magic, of course), but the rest is just nonsense and obviously chosen with balancing in mind. Not that I'm complaining: I've felt for a while that Poison is a type that gets the short end of the stick for no good reason.

So how do I keep track of the EVs I'm pumping into this shiny Absol? Will they just stop doing anything once I reach 252?

Not bad.Plants absorb water for nutrients.
Keep breeding!Stefan;87615208 said:Should I train the Bagon with perfect IVs in all the right places or continue to breed for a shiny that might have shitty IVs?

Steel and poison, the modern world (pollution, technology, etc.) killing magic?
Aw, really?! That sucks.Pretty soon people online will often just assume your shiny's hacked, anyways, since the new file format for the pokemon has been cracked.

Poison and Steel makes more sense if you treat Fairy as a psuedo- "Noble" or "Light" type. The most common ways for a noble warrior to die (in stories) is by sickness/assassination (poison) or in battle (swords - steel).
This interpretation also explains the relationship with the dark type although doesn't really explain the fighting type relation.
Plants absorb water for nutrients.
Fairy = nature.
Steel and poison are man made stuff ruining nature.
Fighting and dark types tend to be based on humans; fighters and ninjas. Without technology they are prey to fairies.

Having one of the parents being a shiny doesn't improve the odds of the offspring being a shiny. The only way to improve the odds of hatching a shiny is if one of the parents is from a different region than the other.
Yeah, I gathered this was their line of thinking. I don't run with that hippie bullshit though![]()
I thought to myself that Fairy beats Fighting because love conquers war. Poison beats fairy because that's how Goku died in future Trunks's world.Fairy = nature.

Yep. Also Fighting is Hero type and Dark is Evil type in Japan iirc.Steel=iron, iron=traditional weakness of fairies.

I've read that, but the odds remain quite low.
And heroes are always fooled and manipulated by fairies.
Good lord, Looking for a Yveltal in the GTS, it's filled with unobtainable Pokemon and "Volcanion" requests, lol.
Only saw 1 normal person asking for a Xerneas.
