I've become addicted to wonder trade, and since I can't in good conscious send out crap I catch stuff in the friend safari to give away. But I have started giving them terrible nicknames like the Barabaracle I named "not Squirtle".
 
I just got Pokemon X and was wondering how soon am I allowed to trade with people over the internet? I Just got to my 1st town with a Pokemon Center.
 
MicH, can I get in on your Nasty Plot Togepis as well? :P

I'm pretty much willing to try out anything and everything for the Battle Maison.
 
Does anyone have a Modest Ditto I could borrow? Want to breed an Abra with Modest Nature and Synchronize to make this Goomy breeding a bit easier.

I'm pretty sure you can trade the minute you have more than 1 pokemon. I don't think it will let you have 0 at any time.

Ivs: 31/XX/31/31/31/31
Evs: 252 HP / 252 Sp. Attack / 4 Sp. Def (I dont think 4 def / one extra point would help it out at all, would just be a waste)
Draco Meteor / Dragon Pulse
Fire Blast / Flamethrower
Sludge Bomb
Thunderbolt / Muddy Water

Togekiss w Leftovers
252HP 92SpA 168 Spd. This EV setup allows me to outspeed anything on the ground bar electrode and Deoxys after 1 sticky web.

Roost
Dazzling Gleam
Flamethrower/Fireblast. (I run flamethrower because my Togekiss isn't really dmg dealer in the 1st place and I need all the burns I can get off with Serere Grace)
Air Slash

Basically it's role is to flinchhax everything forcing switch outs/Tank some special hits and Roost them off.

Currently debating on Nasty Plot because if I'm going to be running Flamethrower anyway might as well get some OHKO on Megamawhile.
 
I just use the first set I see on Smogon lol. I don't know the game well enough to be innovative or interesting. I hope it's enough to win me some games.

I was terrfified the stupid thing would use explosion the whole time.

Also was xerneas supposed to be so easy to catch? caught him using a ultra ball on my 2nd try.

Definitely a nice set. I've been going back and forth on whether to replace Aura Sphere with Roost or not. Flamethrower would probably be a good idea, as the only fire-move I have on my team is Fire Blast on Goodra
 
I've got 3 male Adamant Speed Boost Torchic's with 31 iv's in HP, Atk, Def, and Speed, and 1 male Adamant Speed Boost Torchic with 31 iv's in everything but HP. I'm looking for Friend Safari Ditto's with 3+ iv's or calm/bold hidden ability eevee's with at least 2 perfect iv's. If you don't have those two things you can still pm me with an offer if you'd like.

Even if his nature increases his DEF, that doesn't mean you need to put extra EV points on it. I think you should go for HP instead.
 
I've never looked into it, but how much does a stat increasing move actually change the stat? When it says Attack increased or Attack sharply raised? Is there a set number, or is it a percentage?

It's 50% for a normal increase, and 'sharply' doubles your original stat.
 
Has anyone here bred a Ferroseed with Stealth Rock and Leech Seed?

Is the Turtwig line still the only way to get those two moves on it?

edit: oh snap Turtwig's Stealth Rock is by BW2 move tutor.
 
Figures that my male immunity gligar gave me 3 immunity female gligars, but then all my female gligars are giving me are hypercutter or sand veil.
 
I wonder if they'll patch or improve animations. Anyone else notice Ariados' physical / bite animation is missing frames? Janky as all fuck. Not to mention the half ass animations I come across all over the place. Xatu is a disaster, hoppip helicopters is hilariously offensive, tropius is just as bad as Xatu. And they just straight up forgot to animate Golduck.

Really GF, did you think we wouldn't notice? Especially when there are a lot of Pokemon with amazing animation or detail, like Lapras just slamming onto the ground from the pokeball, torchic and joltik being adorable and then stuff like metagross, Goodra, and a few others have 4 attack animations were most have 2 and a lot of first forms only have 1 (Togepi etc)

Xatu's is so bad it's good. I wasn't expecting *awkwardly hover in place in the most undignified flight pose since Puma-Man" I'd certainly prefer it just stand in place but I don't mind the balls-awful alternative.

Draining Kiss' animation is pretty bad too. Maybe it's just Sylveon.
 
Got a Larvesta with hp, def, speed and got a ditto with def, sp.A, sp.def.

Gonna try to get as many 5V Larvestas as possible, let's hope this goes smoothly. First egg has arrived.

Can always use it for future kids, more chances with destiny knot is always a good thing.

It's what I'm eventually going to do with my 6 iv perfect male torrent froakie, once I finally get back to trying to get a 5 iv female. :/
