I hope we get a really unexpected announcement like the return of Syphon Filter or bringing Agent back from the dead after E3 2009, I think these kind of announcements would be much better suited to the show we're getting on Thursday as opposed to an Uncharted 4 which could steal an E3 for Sony.

Not sure I would agree.

E3 we found out the price ($399), The Order announced, KHIII + FFXV reveal / relaunch, Destiny gameplay demo, Infamous / DriveClub + Killzone trailers.

Gamescom announced release date and cool indie games like Rime.

I'd say it'll likely top Gamescom but probably not E3. For me at least.
 
GameInformer's The Order coverage has finished now, so the next cover reveal could be as soon as tomorrow (usually around the second week of the month anyway). It could tie in with one of Geoff's teases to start the week.

You would think with all this emphasis on pushing DLC and finding new revenue streams that f2p collectible card games would flood the PS4 and Xbox One. I'm kinda shocked that some of these PC and smartphone collectible card games haven't been announced as coming yet.
 
Ohhh So is it a Sony event (like PS Meeting) and not a Spike event? If so I like that they came back to where they started their pre-launch domination in New York back in February.

Reveals will start tomorrow on Geoff's twitter. No footage though, just confirmations of what will be there at the event. And nothing else really came out afaik, just teasing from Ono (SF, Deep Down), and Kojima (Metal Gear - who knows which?). They are both in New York.

Sony have a shit load of titles they have yet to even tease, let alone announce at an event. Uncharted will be at the VGAs which leaves us with like at least 6-8 unknown titles that could be announced at this PS4 launch event thing.
