They can add more events, card skills, more hot spring events, more social links, more costumes, redone intro, new ending, new bad ending and a new additional epilogue. It would be kinda hard to top what was added in P4G. There is a lot of shit in there. Might as well rebalance some characters, give them new skills.

I don't have a vita, so I should rebuy Persona 3 an 4 on PS2. But I don't have a PS2 anymore. How do they run on the PCSX2 emulator? They are mad cheap on Amazon.

So, besides what console this is going to be on and if this is indeed P5, I suppose the other real question is how long after they make it official will they be able to churn it out? I mean, the supposition is that they've been working on this game for quite some time, no?

Both run very very well. At least with my settings. The only problems with P3 FES was the ending credit background video didnt show and in P4 I get a weird screen flicker. It's rare and doesn't affect gameplay too much. It could just be from my settings. Other than those things the games have been pretty flawless in my experience.
Be warned though that save states make these games insanely easy so use at your own risk.

How big a gap there usually is between big Atlus game announcement and release?
I played through both (P3FES specifically) on emulator couple years ago, there were some slowdowns that affected some classroom situations and some boss fights at the time, but nothing game breaking or anything. I imagine it's now better than it was back then too, it's been a while since I did that.
6-7 months in past but lately it's been longer. SMT4 took like a year.

If its for PS3 hopefully Gaikai will be up by the time it releases. Latency isnt a huge issue for a turn based jrpg. If its for Vita, well, cool I will pick one up as I dont have a portable and remote play might be a good feature. If its for PS4 well awesome lets so this. Basically the chances of me being disappointed with this reveal are extremely slim.
How much translation work had to be done for something like Persona 4 Golden vs. SMT 4? Only asking cause the turnaround time from Golden vs SMT4 was much longer. Don't remember SMT4, but Golden was announced in August 2011 and didn't come out in Japan until June 2012, and the US in November 2012.
