I can't believe this was actually announced, I'm stoked.
I agree. Predictable teenagers and their hormones is getting tiring. At least change it up with Colllege or something.
I know right? Especially when this game will be overseas in 2015 most likely.
Because Winter 2014 runs until March 2014.
Remember, Persona 4 was announced March 2008 then released in Japan July 2008 then in the US December 2008. Atlus has REALLY short lead times between announcements and releases. Look at P4: Arena, too.
Putting up a 3-day countdown stream and rallying fans for an empty teaser...I'm really liking the red color scheme. We all knew Persona 5 was coming, I wish we got a real ingame trailer![]()

Well SMT IV and P5 kinda breakes this.
Winter 2014 runs from December 21, 2013 to March 19, 2014. This is not debatable. This is a fact.
Of course, but does that mean anything? There are even more Wii and DS sold than PS3. That doesn't mean the game would sell better on those consoles. What truly matters is if the people that own those systems are still buying games for them. God Eater 2 sold better on Vita, despite the difference between PSP and Vita LTD.
Why should Atlus care about Gaikai? They aren't Sony.
I don't think the difference is going to be as big as you may think. Besides, Persona 4 Golden sold very well on a 'dead' handheld. It could have happened again.
Thing is, college in Japan is kinda like grad school in the west, huge focus on classes and studying and not much on the social aspect, unlike in the west. It wouldn't make for an interesting setting, hence why there's so few anime revolving around college studentsI agree. Predictable teenagers and their hormones is getting tiring. So if I were to play P4 would the Vita version be the best way to go?
Gotta hit up the BST thread to see if someone will give me one for a decent price.
Any chances of this getting a physical PS3 release in the West?
NopeAnybody besides me going to try and exude the willpower to not get this on release and wait for an upgraded Vita version?
LOL. No. This was definitely not the case. You're definitely in the wrong on this one from what I heard.

So I assume the theme has already been discussed? Can't help but think about that "emancipation" part being a major focus on the characters wanting to break away and try to live their own lives, having to deal with the hardships of going from teenager to becoming an adult on your own as a part of growing up.
....or something.
Japan college != colleges in the west.
Or so I've heard.

I'm guessing it is. I've only played P3 and P4.
More like "maximizing profits rather than throwing more money away for no good reason".
You sure? Isn't it more likely that Winter 2014 is December 2014 to march 2015?

STOP TRYING TO RUIN CHRISTMAS TIME
LOL
I can't stop doing that anymore than Naoto can stop being the hottest girl in P4.
no that's Winter 2013, it goes from the year it starts in not when it ends
just Google winter 2013 and you'll see
The astronomical winter (Northern Hemisphere) 2013 begins on
Saturday, December 21
and ends on
Wednesday, March 19
It's about damn time.
I want at least college-age characters and a grimdark storyline.
Sue me, I don't give a fuck. THE ANIME STOPS HERE

I wouldn't say that.I think Sony getting gaikai ready in time is more likely than a ps4 port.
