Amazon's system updates sporaidcly. Often I have receieved stuff from amazon before it is marked as despatched.

I would also take whatever amazon's customer service is saying with a grain of salt. They will just be customer service reps with little more insight other than what you see on your order screens.

They will alos have little information on shipping other than what is written on your order and the yardstick of their normal delivery times. Most will not be aware tomorrow is launch day and that everyone should be getting launch day shipping. on their screens it will just look like any other order

I would even suggest not bothering to email or phone amazon, as you are more likley to get the customer service rep accidently clicking about with your order and fucking it up.

Just sit tight and everything will be alright.

At least you're at that stage, mines still Not Yet Dispatched, not really worrying just yet, if I still see nothing changed by 11pm tonight I'm getting in my car and heading to a queue.

I've just gone into my local GAME and pre-ordered a console for tonight. You sure they wouldn't let you do that?

Still waiting for my tracking number to work on the DPD website. ShopTo said it would be despatched today. I'm sure it has been so I don't know.

Wtf? I was told GAME had sold out across the country.

my GAME (Ealing) said they had quite a few extra provided to sell to walk-in customers. big bundles though (killzone + Cod + some blurays + some accessory shit etc). But there is stock out there.
 
3,5hrs until GameStop opens their midnight pre-launch hangout. Then chilling there, playing on one of the four demo stations for 3,5hrs 'til I get my unit :D
 
I caved and went to customer service live chat. He said it was in the process of being handed over the carrier for delivery and was adamant that it would arrive tomorrow. Was too apologetic considering it was me moaning because it had been at "dispatching now" for a few hours.

Initial Question: I preordered this item in June. I pay for Prime, and chose One-Day Delivery for it. It has just dispatched, and the delivery estimate has changed from the 29th November to 2nd December. I'd like an explanation, please. I'm not getting the service I paid for.

Just got a message from my webstore that I'll receive my PS4 tomorrow. Didn't actually think I would be lucky enough to get it on the release date ;p
 
Anyone who's ordered from Amazon UK and lives in the UK - what's your shipping method listed as in the order? Mine says First Class which is certainly not guaranteed next day and has yet to be shipped. Marked as 'Dispatching Now', whatever that means.

Called support and they promised that it would be sent by the end of the day. To be fair, my copy of NFS: Rivals was shipped last night at 19:00 so it's possible but, when you say First Class, I think Royal Mail, and that ain't next day.

I'm in exactly the same boat, First Class and Dispatching Now.

It's too big for "first class" shipment via Royal Mail anyway.

It's unlikely it's going to be Royal Mail, and even if it was it would be a tracked delivery. TBH I think they just upgraded everyone's delivery to a prime level 1 day, so I wouldn't worry about what the shipping is officially down as in the order.

For what it's worth mines is "First Class" and dispatching now. Though I do have a prime account now i never upgraded the shipping to expedited just in case it fucked everything up.

Wow that is really ridiculous. Do you get a email after you chatted with "support" in the UK aswell. In Germany you can leave feedback aka 0/10 and contact me to resolve that issue - and most of the times you get someone calling you who is really in a position to help you out. Those chat support people seem to have a huge FAQ and thats about it.
