I was planning on writing a small rant about the launch event London yesterday, but I'm way too excited right now. Off to get my arse handed to me in Battlefield!
 
I just picked mine up on my lunch break and managed to log in and do the day one update before my lunch break was over. DAMN YOU!!!

Would it be weird if I kiss him? On second thoughts, yes, especially since I am male.
Maybe I will just weep and hug him, that's acceptable, right?
 
My console just arrived. Doing the update now and will try and get the downloads done before psn dies completely tonight when everyone else logs on! Really pleased with the console so far. The dashboard looks really nice and the pad feels great in my hands. Still waiting on Lego marvel from Shopto though which is still stuck at processing for some reason, all my other games arrived though so I've got plenty to occupy myself with in the mean time!
 
If there's one thing i've learnt today, its I never realised how many deliveries single vans make, i'm number 108 on mine and I suspect there's many more after me.
 
There is no discernible logic to the route Steve is taking. He's been back and forth between the same roads and estates for the last 5 deliveries

DPD also do pre-10am and pre-12pm services, maybe that's why?

Or maybe Steve really likes driving the roads in your area

Did you consider it is not what he is delivering to the people

But perhaps what the people are delivering to him


Perhaps you need to make it interesting for Steve.
 
Stores around had surprisingly few games... ended up picking up NFS, wanted killzone and AC4. Downloading killzone right now... meanwhile,

Edit: oh and btw? NFS looks absolutely stunning on dat OLED. Input delay is pretty self evident, but it's still playable.

It's 2pm lol. For the last half an hour I've been watching him drive back and forth over the road separating the two housing estates round here for every delivery. Maybe he's paid by the mile.

Trying to resist myself from checking every 5 minutes is extremely tough, although it's pretty crushing over not being able to use the web browser on the console unless signed in.

Really nice hardware though, amazed by how much smaller it is to an original PS3 in person. Time to fiddle around with the controller on PC, no one was lying over how much of an improvement it is, and I was fine with the DS3.

I'm really annoyed at the layout of the European store. Once again it appears as if the American store is much better and far more convenient:

Do Sony like the idea of Europeans struggling to find a game? I came across Warthunder today by complete accident and I'd forgotten about it. It's a good job I scrolled through the entire collection of PS4 games just in case I missed something. It's going to be fun trying to find something later on when that list is huge.

FYI, I only downloaded one game and one update at a time. Resogun is here, flower too. Downloaded the Sound shapes up date, still dowlnoading the game around 0,7MB/s.
I think since it's a launch, you better download items one by one, the new PSN system tries to get it it all simultaneously.
Are you downloading something else?
 
PSN down means I won't be able to play anything until PSN comes up because I bought everything digitally.

Makes me want to go to tesco or something just to pick up a game in the meantime.
