Sorry to hear that. Hope you manage to get your PS4 in the end. At least Yodel do Saturday deliveries.... and failing that we are on strike on Tuesday so i'm not in work that day. Although they would let me take a holiday at short notice anyway. It is an emergency afterall.

I would say that my ps4 is about the same as the ps3 slim or a bit louder.
It really requires a lot more space around it.
I first put it in my TV rack where I used to have my ps3 slim, but there it got really loud.
When I moved out of the tv rack, it got to be about ps3 slim levels of noise.

That pack is delayed to Australia for at least 2 weeks. If you ordered that pack, no launch console, guraranteed. Gotta wait at least 2 weeks .......... could be 3 or 4.

Ok so this is how my launch day went down:
- went to the post office in the morning, picked up my BF and Killzone
- back home, ate, brought my daughter to bed but she wouldn't sleep because dady had to look out the window every 2 seconds.
- finally postman arrives, kid still awake, i throw my kid in her bed and say "iam right back just wait"
- rush out grab my ps4 and back in to my kid, thinking to myself "ok sleep time, maybe i can play in 1 hour or so"
- come back into the room - kid sleeps OMG perfect
- connect to psn no problems at all, download updates throw in BF4 and start multiplayer untill my daughter wakes up
- and now i just played 5 more hours of bf and some killzone and assscreed
Impressions:
Really really nice, also got a Chinese system but no problems at all. Never lost a connection in Battlefield but it sucks trying to play with friends. Killzone is amazing i mean the graphics are just WOW its like watching a movie or something, really great.

Mine just arrived, 11:30pm, special delivery with TNT. Driver said there had been a lot of problems so they were making late deliveries.
Had a fun afternoon with the PS4, Remote Play, background downloads, Playroom nostalgia, sending things to my PS4 to download from the store in my phone.
The highlight so far truly is Resogun on Remote Play. It's fantastic. People that play grinding games are going to love RP.

Yup, true. And the range of RP is superb. I've connected the consoles via direct connection and there is no stutter even through 3-4 walls in a completely different part of my appartment. I'm really impressed.

I still just cannot get over the size of the PS4.
Every time I walk into the room and see it I just cannot comprehend how that tiny unit is pulling off what it is, especially considering the PSU is integral as well.
Absolutely no doubt Sony knocked the ball out of the park in every aspect with this one.

I bought ACIV digitally and whenever I start the game it's asking for a 'Uplay Passport' to "access the full single player experience" - the options it gives are 'activate passport', 'buy passport' or 'play without a passport', but the first two don't seem to do a damn thing and I have to close the game and re-start it.
Am I missing anything significant by starting the game without the passport?
