why didn't they bring the APEX II book out in the US? I want it. Any way to buy it standalone in the US?
Couldn't they just, like, copy and paste the interior from the SLS or something?

It's just not all that active at the moment since not many people have the game yet.
Korean. The book is fully translated to Korean. You don't pay extra money for this edition. Its just limited first print.

the beyond the apex book is different from the apex book. It looks like only some countries got the APEX II book

I believe it's the same as GT5, so you can choose to allow the game to install as you play or you can install it before you start playing. But it's much better to just let everything install before you start playing.

No, actually game installs itself automatically while you play in the background.
Cars, tracks, whatever is installed once prompted for the first time in the background and once installed game access that data much faster than during the first access (some track or car for instance).
At this point my game file has around 8GB (I have disc version).
@mrklaw You start to play instantly, no need to wait for anything - everything is automated (except the new 1.01 update)

I like the immersion that comes with a full cockpit, particularly in night races. I never raced a standard car in GT5 simply because they had no cockpits just weird silhouetted cockpits. It's not like there won't be other cars with the same (or better) performance than the Mercedes Vision GT but if it was only deigned to be looked at then that is what I'll do, look at it and not race it.

Gutted. I enjoyed all the extras in GT5 as much as actually playing the game. I learned a lot too.

The game installs as you play and I didn't see an option to do it before. I forgot to check after the update.
The update adds an extended intro (though a cool scene from the original was cut...)
and the first vision car. It has it's own video presentation and it's free to get for one time!

The cars don't explode when you crash them. Also it's not Wipeout.

Racing the AI is pretty boring.
Why did they go with rolling starts again, are all races like that?
Is it a performance issue or just a lazy way of making the game a bit more difficult?
