Most angry you have ever been playing a videogame?

Usually only online games piss me off, because when you play locally, you simply can't blame anyone but yourself.
I don't think I've broken anything in my rages though. I've thought about smashing a wall to break some fingers, but after a second that seems stupid, and I just can't afford breaking a controller/game/console/PC/TV.

My younger brother once threw his DSphat on the floor so it broke during a game of Bomberman, and the spoiled brat had the nerve to call our mom and outright tell her to buy a new one.
She bought one the same day, no questions asked. Brother then scratched me on my neck when I told mom what had happened to the old one, leaving a ~4cm long scar that I can still feel, but isn't too visible. We were 13 and 11 years old at the time.

Almost every boss in every fighting game I've played. Also more recently in Dark Souls, the archer knights on the bridge in Anor Londo. Fuck those guys.

I've never smashed/punched anything like some people are saying, but I do remember when playing Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles there were multiple times when I'd get pissed and turn the game off in disgust, only to want to go back and play it some more a couple of hours later.

I've also found that anytime I try to get into the multiplayer in a FPS it just ends with me getting pissed off. It's not because I'm losing but because I always seem to hit this point where my skill level plateaus and I can't seem to improve even though I'm still just okay at the game. I can handle losing if I'm learning from the losses and improving, but when I can't seem to get better no matter how much I play is when I really get frustrated.

NBA 2K games constantly got me raging... from missing wide open 3's to blown breakaway layups/dunks. I remember one time in an online league game with 4 seconds left missing a wide open layup off of a blown assignment on defence with Kobe mind you to cost me the game. Having Kinect attached makes it worse as you get technicals for cursing while playing the game.

Man there was a room right at the end of Silent Hill: Homecoming that had a bunch of ammo and weapons in it. BUT, if you missed the room and went through the next door the game autosaved and you could not go back.

So here I am trying to beat the final boss with nothing but a melee weapon. It required precise input to dodge its attacks as well as doing weapon combos. I grew so frustrated because quite a few of my attacks would just not register as hits when the model clearly went through her. Man, I don't even know why I played that for so long. I finally threw my controller on the ground after an hour and watched the ending on Youtube

CoD4's "No fighting in the war room" Veteran.

Completing Star Wars the Force Unleashed on Sith Master difficulty.

Prototype's boss battles were insanely annoying. also my friends and I got really mad last night trying to beat a level in SM3DW.

One time I was playing Warcraft III solo while I was drunk. At the time, my record was something like 33-2. Anyways, in my drunken stupor I was playing horribly but (on Lost Temples map) when I tried to expand to my second gold mine, I discovered there was an Ancient of War rush on my base. That really pissed me off for some reason. And I lost.

The Wandering Dungeon in Star Ocean: The Last Hope International. Whoever thought it was a good idea to make a 2-4 hour dungeon lack a save point should be drug out into the street and shot.

right? holy shit @ some of these people.

there was one time i died like 20 times in a row in megaman and it made me roll my eyes and turn off the game. because that's all it is, a game. :P

Sounds like me. The maddest I could possibly be at a game is if I turn it off, eject the disc, and put it back on the shelf unfinished...but even then I realize how ridiculous I'm being and I'm back to trying again in 30 minutes.

I bit my PS2 controller of anger and threw it to the bedroom in anger after so many tries in GTA SA airplane toy mission, when I was younger.

After that I realized how sick it became, and I realized I should not continue playing any game while its stressting me (and not entertraining). So I stoped with that.

My DualShock 2 still works like a charm! But carries my teeth forms! LOL

Nowadays, when some part of a game is becoming stressfull hard, I stop and try again later! It works pretty well! :P

Gears Of War when it just came out. Never played a game like that before. Shot a guy in the back 3 times point blank with a shotgun, he turns around and kills me instantly and he lives. I got so mad I broke a controller and kicked my closet door in. I've never come close to being that angry at any media again. Lol. (Lesson learned)

This is mine too. Fuckin' host!

I remember when I was a kid, I used to play Tekken 3 on PSOne with my brother. One Saturday, I beat him 40 - 0. On the 41th game, he got so pissed, he stood up, disconnected the cables of the console, and took it with him to his bedroom. Fucking lol, he laughs everytime I remind him of this :p

I got really furious the other night with Killzone: SF Chapter 7 or 8 I believe, you get thrown into a turret with waves of dudes and ATAC's coming at you, I turned it off after dying 15 times and my GF saying I was getting pretty angry, I said I wasnt having fun, traded it in today.

Madden players with a 100% onside kick success rate boil my fucking blood. I would probably be serving a life sentence right now if I knew where they lived.

Once you get a high enough rating they are everywhere.

It is the sole reason I no longer play Madden.

Great, now I'm mad and I need a drink...

This gen, I was going to say Gears 3.
Nothing bothers me more, than when I get in close to a guy with the Gnasher and hitting him squarely, only to have him hit me back and blow me apart, whilst he walks away from my shot. RAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE!
I also hate being the last guy standing and having five jackels chasing me for an easy kill >:(

Fable 3

After I found out that I played too far into the game and that the end was coming even though I didn't want it to.
I used to like the game before but this was just bs. Fuck you Lionhead

Aye.... I'm right around that part right now... I guess I'll be stuck there for a few days...

Probably the final boss in Shinobi for the PS2.

"THE CROWS WILL FEAST UPON YOUR CARCASS." I heard that so many times. >_<

I don't think any game series has made me more angry than Mario Party.

Special mention to losing all my saved up souls in Dark Souls.

Any COD. Unloading an entire clip into someone and them killing you with a single shot.
First post and all that. I feel like my decision to stop playing CoD may be my best one ever. It can be so fun with friends but god damn that lag is the worst ever. It's been the same since forever too...

I get mad just thinking about it!

Encountering the final train navigation section of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. After seeing it and attempting it a couple times, I raged at myself for ever wasting any time on the game at all, and put it away in a dark closet where it will remain for all time.

Any CoD on Veteran. Especially WaW.

Mortal Kombat 3. Button reading Shao Khan the motherfucker.

Street Fighter 4. Seth....until I figured him out.

Uncharted 3. Crushing. Up to chapter 8 right now and I'm dreading the rest.

Raged alot to videogames when i was a kid.
In the 90s i got my ass handed to me playing the very first virtua fighter on pc.
I grabbed the disc out of the drive and crushed it with my bare hands. Got some cuts and found small pieces of it even months later.

Other incidents were throwing a officechair against the wall breaking it and biting (yep) into my pc table. I think it was both from playing UT.

Makes me smile thinking about it nowdays.

Soulcalibur IV lag playing online. I kept losing against attack spammers because I couldn't time the counters. I think that's the closer I've ever been to throwing a gamepad.

Probably the angriest I've ever been playing a videogame was when I played God of War 2 on Titan mode and fought against the Cerberus breeders in the "Sacrifice to the Fates" section of the game.

You have ridiculously strong Cerberus adults, that have an insane number of hit points, spitting out two or more Cerberus babies that then grow in to adults that spit out more Cerberus babies! All of this is also accompanied by Cyclopeses and other annoying enemies that keep you from killing the babies before they grow in to adults.

I literally almost threw my PS2 out of my Dorm room playing that section. It took me almost a week to beat that one part. The rest of the game was a cake walk in Titan mode compared to that one section!!!!

One of the most stupidly unfair sections in a video game lol. It's like it switched to Cat Mario or something lol.

The RC Plane mission in GTA: SA was one of the worst anger spells I've ever had. That mission kept me from beating the game for well over a year.

i just got probably the most pissed ever just now playing cod ghost

FUCK THIS GAME ! spawn into crossfires, spawn into camping sniper sights wtf !

i still went 21-10 but the game is just fucked up.

Earlier today when I screwed up a section of stage 5 in Saidaioujou for the 10000th time

A few hours later, I watched a stream and suddenly figured out what I've been missing this entire time. Life feels worth living again.

The past generation (and now the current) for me it's been the optional objectives in Assassin's Creed franchise for maximum sync. So much rage.
