Great game.

Amazing, even... there's very few platformers on any system ever that compare, I absolutely loved the game, even the sometimes infuriating difficulty.

Only had to give up and resort to Silver Kong on 1 level, 8-2 "Hot Rocket". That level can burn in the flames of a thousand suns.

My favorite the first time was Crumble Canyon, but playing through the game again I really like Springy Spores. I've noticed that the more a level can keep its pace even (that is, not me slowing down), the more I like it.

So yeah, playing DKC:R at the moment and the waggling controls are pretty damn shitty imho (dislike motion-controls in general). I've heard there is a mod that removes the waggle and maps the attacks to a button, can anyone link or share it with me if so?

The shake-to-roll is pretty terrible. I don't know about a mod but if you have a 3DS I much preferred the 3DS version, and it has extra levels.

Ah, that's too bad. I really could not get into the Wii version very well at all because of the motion controls.

DKCR's difficulty is what I like most about the game, ironically enough. It demands you have experience with platformers, but it's not unfair on like Ninja Gaiden levels or anything. Keep at it, and you will get better.
