Halo and Titanfall are FPS. We don't know what Black Tusks game is in regards to player perspective.
I agree minus the undoing (http://www.nowinstock.net/videogaming/consoles/ps4/) and all of the hyperbole you showed on the topic this past week. They have a lot of already announced 2014 titles, but they aren't saying anything about them. Hell, the marketing team won't even let RAD show off The Order gameplay video and SSM is waiting to reveal their new IP. It's annoying not having an idea of when we'll hear more info before E3.
Oh please....an announcement to announce release dates is not something to look forward to, same can be said for Sony's Driveclub as for Halo 5.

We've seen footage/picture updates of Driver, and Infamous Second Son....that is twice as much as MS has shown since releasing their new console.

To be fair, those games are (were) slated to hit earlier than the stuff in the OP. The equivalent is something like Titanfall.

they are in a good spot, just because they don't have someone tweeting announcements of announcements it doesn't mean the games aren't coming or that their e3 performance will be lacklustre

I didn't say the series is dead. There's just nothing to look forward to. 343's full of great developers but they should be working on something other than Halo.

Also the fact that they've been working on this game before 4 shipped.
That we haven't seen anything is just due to a different marketing approach. They probably want to have a shorter and more intense PR push from E3 to launch in October.

I'm pretty sure we barely saw anything from Halo 4 till March 2012. Just the E3 2011 teaser and a single gif.
Yeah, having a long time to have already been working on it and the formal announcement that it's planned for 2014 are pretty good signs.
they revealed first halo 4 gameplay in spring 2012. an artwork trailer was released in august 2011 i think. the only real halo 5 info we have is the cgi trailer and concept art by sparth.

Yeah, that's pretty much the main reason why I think it will happen. Should have happened in the first place. I guess Sony underestimated how quickly people would jump aboard the next gen ship...
I would do unspeakable things for a new Daytona or Sega Rally.
If 343 had a beta everybody would have realized what a turd it was and canceled their pre-order.

The beta is what you pay $60 for. The full game is what you get when you wait a year and buy it for $20 only to find that there are 10000 people online.

I think their next game could be great. Picking up the Halo franchise and giving it to a different dev team is quite the task so the fact that Halo 4 had as much content and looked as good as it does is a testament to the team at 343. Now given a 2-3 year development on brand new hardware could be something amazing.
