1080p and AA will result in a massive improvement in image quality even if the textures and models look basically the same.

The entire castle area was nothing but aliased/shimmering edges and textures.

My guess is it will have shit options, only go up to 1080, use the 480p fmv instead of in game cutscenes, and probably something else new they found to mess up.

No PC gamer should ever complain too much about ports of awesome games to PC with full controller support, achievements, and Steam support.

Give us an unlock everything code so we don't have to grind or hunt down collectibles for the hundreth time. This should be a requirement in any HD re-release or late port. Lock out achievements if enabled. That's fine.

The old port was shit on a technical level, sure it was improved by modders or you could go the emulation route, but both those options are far from ideal.

Having a well-ported out of the box version on Steam with all the bells and whistles is the far superior option.

All of Capcom's PC ports have been great lately. Revelations had an issue at launch but it was fixed.

If I could put up with 30 hours of Resident Evil 6's turd pie, I can happily enjoy 25 hours of Resident Evil 4's glory. I finished it on GameCube at release, but haven't played it since. Can't wait.

I haven't played the game since gamecube, never picked up the terrible pc port so this is good news, hope it actually has all the graphic effects.

Only thing i think it has going on for it is better controller support (hopefully).
