Really nice. I played the entire thing in split screen on max settings on a 5870. It was a very smooth experience. The actual game ran better than the benchmark test. (Which is something I've noticed with every Capcom game ever). This was on an old C2D @ 3.16ghz, I should add.
That's because Capcom makes some badass PC ports. Some of the best actually. Anyone playing on PC for the last couple of years know how awesome they are when it comes to the PC options.
FUCK YEAH, goodbye Ubisoft's shitty port. Now gimme Devil May Cry HD Collection PC Edition.
I got super excited upon seeing the tweet, but afrter the trailer I kinda realised it looks like it's simply a port of the console HD-editions, albeit with the ability to run at higher than 720p resolutions.
If Capcom went all out and maybe re-textured, or remodelled, and did in-engine cut0scenes I'd maybe be interested, but I have a feeling it will just be a lazy port.
But by all means, I am ready for Capcom to surprise me.
Pointy elbow. Pre-order cancelled.
Ah sweet, so the page on pcgamingwiki about it having poor performance is just bullshit?
Says who?
RE5 had native pointer controls built into the game on the PC version, and considering the groundwork is already there, why wouldn't they have it in this version?
Most important question. Can you use a Bluetooth connected Wiimote + nunchuk to point and play?![]()
So they already had this game on PC and it was a piss poor port and now people are jumping for joy that they can now fork over more cash for a (possibly) competent version?
why couldn't they just make RE1-3 in HD for PC instead?? Darn RE4 done frigging came out on everything including microwaves and toasters. Plus it hardly looks different from the Wii version with HD textures on Dolphin.

A lot of us didn't buy the crappy port but will buy the good one.So they already had this game on PC and it was a piss poor port and now people are jumping for joy that they can now fork over more cash for a (possibly) competent version?
Maybe, it didn't have any issues that I can think of, I didn't get it when it was new though. Maybe it's just not kept up to date. There is a free benchmark tool that you can use to get an estimate on how well it runs.

What's with the negativity here? Capcom's PC ports for the past few years have been great. They deserve the benefit of the doubt.
I am really excited for this as re4 is one of my favorite games and this will be great to have in my steam library rather than tied to a console that's going to go in the closet.
first time we can play this in 60 fps
will buy at a high price
The only thing that grabbed my attention was 60fps since everything else can be achieved with mods.
Does RE4 have co-op?
Does RE4 have co-op?
Nope.

I wish my PC could run this![]()
PC
Dolphin
PCSX2
Judging by the hair, it's using Wii/GC assets.
