Kill: Hey! Arnold

Why: because fuck that show, that's why....footballheaded kilt wearing freak...

Kill: Batman Beyond

Why: Because for some reason people actually wasted saves on it last time...and it's not TAS

kill: batman beyond
kill: dexter's lab

batman beyond is pretty redundant with batman the animated series on the list. i can admire the effort that went into it, but it was never really for me. kevin conroy as old bruce was the highlight, but that was about it.

i can't think of what dexter's lab does better than anything else left. it doesn't mess with tropes as playfully as the powerpuff girls. the action isn't as good either. the childhood elements are done better in hey arnold, and the innuendo is more prevalent and less creepy in rocko's modern life. the non-dexter's shorts are outclassed by the ones in animaniacs, the fight scenes are cooler in dragon ball z, and the slapstick isn't as good as it is in the simpsons. at best, it seems like a jack of all trades. it coasted to the top ten by not doing any one thing particularly wrong, but it doesn't do any one thing exceptionally well either.

thanks for the clarification, absolution.
No problem,
If it comes down to voters that didn't explain themselves, I'll be salty. Unless it would have killed a show I like. Then I'll be...less salty.

Kill: Batman Beyond
Kill: TBD

Batman Beyond isn't the best Batman on the list, it's not as good as Superman or X-men which we've already lost in this competition. It's time.

I'll be sure to remind people to include a sentence. It;'s not that difficult to do.

Kill: Dragon Ball Z- Might as well get on the DBZ hype-death train and get it over with. I like it but meh. Apparently everyone loves PPG way more.
Kill: Dexter's Lab- I like Dex too, but I just don't like it as much as the other shows. Though Omelette du Fromage is pretty ok.

Kill: DBZ
Kill: Dexter's Lab

Like I said in my previous explanation, I feel that DBZ no longer has a place here. It was significant for the time but it certainly doesn't have the depth of some of the other shows in the top 9.

Edit: changed one of my choices from Batman Beyond to Dexter's Lab.

Dexter's Lab was good as well, but it was far less interesting than PPG. Also Batman Beyond is in a whole different league than Dexter's Lab, it took Batman in a new direction. It's still not as good as TAS but it's a hell of a lot better than Dexter's Lab.

Kill: Powerpuff Girls- I like PPG. But I personally think it's the weakest show left.

This was the part of Dexter's Lab that I liked:

2bjs14cl.jpg

That and the episodes where Dexter fought....Mandark? Mandrake? The guy who wanted to put it in Deedee.

Kill: Dragon Ball Z

It's not Simpsons :b
Also I never liked shōnen formula. It gets repetitive after small amount of episodes and DBZ ran for over 200 episodes. It's no fun when you always find out there is always more evil and stronger opponent lurking around the corner, but at least with some training and hidden super move you can beat the newcomer.

Everybody keeps forgetting Snowdown. Or the episode where Dexter stuck that time loop belt on DeeDee and kept slamming her ass from the top of the lab to the bottom. Or the fucking dodgeball mech. All classics.

And who could forget the Puppet Pals?

Will take all of that over Hey Dumbass! anyday.

What's not to like about this?

I haven't forgotten. Dexter's Lab is a classic and in my personal top 3.

The best episode of Dexter never aired.

Have you been looking at Google Images without SafeSearch on?

Because I have the black theme on and because I really can't see bolding with it, I looked at the image I posted for like a full minute trying to find the penis I had accidentally posted or something.

Most of those didn't air in the nineties. I still say 90's DBZ is solid and a great follow up to Dragon Ball (which is, itself, probably better than DBZ).

Kill: Batman Beyond the best batman cartoon is already here no need for two now
Kill: Dexter's Lab at this point with the top 9 I have no problems with any of the cartoons so I'm just throwing darts at cartoon shows to vote for.

The first villain Goku meets (his brother Radditz) kills him. He goes on a quest down snake road and eventually learns a few things, but ultimately it's the quick thinking of mutha fuckin Yajirobe cutting off Vegeta's tail that saves them all from death at the hands (paws?) of Vegeta. Captain Ginyu is bested by getting tricked into body swapping, and Frieza ultimately goes down to his own damn attack and more than a bit of hubris. That's where the 90's ended.

Most of the criticisms lobbied at those particular portions of DBZ are half truths.

Kill: Hey! Arnold
Kill: Batman beyond

Hey! Arnold for wearing that long ass shirt that everyone thought was a kilt up into several post ago
Batman Beyond, because TAS it was not.

I have seen the show and there is variations how the fights go down, but most of the content of the fights are about the same.

Technically, everything from DBZ is from the 90's :P
And so is the masterpiece that is GT why

Kill: Batman Beyond - Good show, but it's not Batman TAS
Kill: Hey Arnold - Good show, but I found most of the characters annoying

Save: TBD. I might use it this round, or I might not :-)

I honestly like both shows, but if another show has to go, I'd rather it be one of those.

Kill Dexter's Lab
Kill DBZ

I don't get how Dexter's Lab made it thus far, so I again suggest we kill it.

I was never into DBZ, but I left it alone out of respect for how many other people seemed to genuinely love it... but perhaps it's time to go.

boy and even that highlights what i dislike about the show. dede's annoying voice, the plot somehow involving the destruction of dexter's lab/projects (again, wile e coyote except not so fun), and there's no art to it. everything looks really desaturated and the backgrounds are just there. the direction is fine, but that's all there is to it. for all of its gadgetry and sci-fi elements, it's really... vanilla.

Both votes I may add.
"When you vote,You MUST include a reason why you want it gone. It can just be a single sentence if you want."

Well I'm going to hold on hope the people come to their senses and vote 90's Simpsons off early (blasphemy I know) so one of the better and more original shows that still in the running will win(Rocko's Modern Life,Dexter's Laboratory,The Powerpuff Girls).

Kill: Batman Beyond
Kill: Animaniacs

Save: Rugrats

Batman Beyond shouldn't have made it this far. Animaniacs was not funny. Too many pop culture references that I didn't understand as a kid that are irrelevant today.

Rugrats was the biggest cable cartoon of the early 90's and the early episodes were god tier. It deserve to be in the top 5.

Rugrats was already eliminated TuXx.

I'm not sure if we're being trolled.

Edit your reasoning into your orginal post so TheAbsolution won't miss it when he counts votes. I don't know if lack of explaining will void your vote but better be safe then sorry. And you can't use two kill votes for same show.

Kill : Batman Beyond
Kill : DBZ

Batman Beyond was a good show. I have a particularly soft spot for it based upon, well it's batman, and he was voiced by Eric Matthews! BUT I strongly believe the show isn't top ten worthy.

DBZ I am voting for - I really really like the show - I am voting for because I don't think it deserves to survive longer than Hey Arnold!. Which seems these two are next on the chopping block. :[

Kill: DBZ
I want this show gone because it had a terrible story. This show was a revelation when it came out, only because we were dumb kids who didn't understand that what we were watching was absolute trash

Kill: Animaniacs
I always liked Animaniacs, however I never NEEDED to watch this show, I would watch it if I stumbled upon it and that is it.

Kill : Batman Beyond
Kill : DBZ

I really like DBZ but it made the top 10 so i am ok with it.
Batman Beyond lasted long enough aswell.

HOW DARE YOU ALL TO TRY TO KILL OFF HEY ARNOLD!

Kill: Batman Beyond
Kill: Animaniacs

BB wasn't very good, let's be honest. I didn't watch it a ton, but watched it enough to know Batman TAS is better (although I still think B-TAS needs to go soon too).

Animaniacs is decent, but compared to the other shows that are left, it too needs to go. It's a bit... too goofy for me to fully enjoy.

Kill: DBZ- the show had great highs, but ultimately it's pacing and tendency to stop giving a fuck about developing a large chunk of its cast, does it in.
Kill: Rocko's Modern Life - It should have never outlived Ren & Stimpy.

Kill: Batman Beyond
Kill: Hey Arnold

Batman Beyond had some great potential and it was a good show, but I think it got lost the longer it went on. Or it could have been cancelled before it could clean itself up.

Edit: I may be wrong about the series being short lived, but I never got to see past the first season. I don't know why.

I watched Hey Arnold in passing so I never saw any continuity to the show, it doesn't need continuity to watch it though. There were times I often didn't watch hey Arnold of there were other shows on that I liked, because it seemed boring sometimes.

Save: DBZ

Because it may matter

Kill: PowerPuff Girls - Seriously guys, this should go before both Hey! Arnold and Rocko's Modern Life. Easily the weakest show on the list - episodes were terribly formulaic, the design was bland, they had the same jokes on all the time based on the character's personalities... come on. Dexter is leagues above it.

Kill: Rocko's Modern Life - DBZ is going for sure this round, so this is kind of a throwaway vote, but I think between Hey! Arnold and this, this one's the weakest one. Being silly and clever should only get you so far on this ranking.

Kill: The Simpsons
Kill: Dragonball z
Because the only way to stop it is to do it now. Kill the Simpsons, it's too late, but let's go down in glory. Dragonball Z should have died. wtf guys.

EDIT: fixed
