Looking forward to watching Black Lagoon with everyone in ToonamiGAF! Glad I held off on watching this on Netflix a few years back, it looks cool.
I'll take it over another horrible shounen series.

nothing is wrong with the dub, in fact I find it superior to the original Japanese *shrugs*
anyways it's nice to see toonami get another quality show, but I am curious how much they are going to have to censor it to get it to air. I'm pretty sure Revy drops at least one F bomb per ep, wonder if they got her to say something else or if it will just be bleeped.
They can show Azumanga Daioh!

I was unaware the light novels had a completely different plot from the anime.
)It's a Viz show. They'll never air it. The only anime they show anymore is whatever Funimation has licensed.

I know nothing about the show except for this, but definitely seems like a good change of pace from the big 3 shounen in front of it. I'm intrigued. Curious what they will do for the language. Bleeps can be amusing for a while but I could see them becoming annoying.

There's Bleach, Naruto, and OG Inuyasha on the tail of the block. Decent chances Final Act might jump in once Bleach ends or maybe they'll let OG Inuyasha have another full run. Also, I'll note that the Viz shows are steadily some of the best rating and Toonami has openly stated they have a good relationship with them.

Black Lagoon seems to get better the more I see it. I've seen the series about three times now and I find myself enjoying it more and more. There's so many things to like about it. At its surface, it presents itself as a hardass, exploitative action show, but as the show progresses it starts to reveal an interesting core. The different relationships start to matter and suddenly you're caught up in all the mysteries, the powerplays, all the inner workings of Roanapur and Lagoon company is in the middle of it all.
Rock and Revy too. That relationship is hot stuff.
Part of me wants to call it one of the GOATs in all honesty. I love it and I'm glad Toonami is bringing it to new people. I wonder how they're going to handle the cursing haha
