Flawless victory. But instead it looks like a large-scale pinata of Gort from Day the Earth Stood Still remake.

Damn Blink is hot as hell. Really not looking forward to this movie though...did not like the direction the series took after X2 and First Class didn't really hook me. I'll wait and see what feedback is like before deciding if I'll go out to see it...

That looks freaking sweet, definitely has to be Nimrod.
We need a master mold![]()
So an explanation for the new Sentinel design...
"Theyre biomechanical weapons. We had to come up with what would be the ultimate version that could actually, in principle, stop the X-Men. We started with this idea that they were almost made up of magnetic plates slapped over one another, imagining that the plates could contract or grow, so the Sentinel can be skinny to get through a small space or the plates can open up to become a bigger shape. So they have become virtually unstoppable."

Looks like Nimrod. Self healing, sleek, probably smarter than the average mutant hunter. Seems like they went straight from the prototype, right to the future, and skipped the classic Sentinel. As a plot choice, I can see it, but I think it's a mistake to not have the recognizable big purple robots in the film, at one point, for fan service.
Yep, that's what I'm thinking.
No hate here, looks cool as Nimrod.
Singer has always failed at the look of the X-Men.
The only character I feel that was nailed perfectly was Nightcrawler, both aesthetically and Alan Cumming's performance.
I did like Marsden as Cyke, although it seems most around here didn't care for that one.

I think magnetic plates are perfect for fighting a group of people who's most dangerous person is the master of magnetism.
McKellen plays the role very very well, it's just that his age and body type aren't really what you see from Mags.
Yeah :/ Doesn't help that the outfit is plain as fuck too. Funny enough I think each of her 20 outfits or so in Beyond look more inspired than this while staying Ellen Pagish ordinary/casual.Ellen Page is looking haggard as hell. Goddamn.
I prefer it to this...

Makes Wolverine look tiny by comparison.
With regards to the sentinel's design, people understand that it's meant to be something that came out of the 70's, right? I refuse to believe it was completely lost on Singer that the final design looks tacky as shit, given the period out of which it's supposed to have been birthed.
Thank you. Haha.Nice avatar.![]()
And this is why I made him my avatar. Its so bad that its actually perfect.Quicksilver is the pinnacle of superhero designs; it will never get better than this. Dude's got himself a walkman.
You're right.McKellen plays the role very very well, it's just that his age and body type aren't really what you see from Mags.
