Hard to choose who to root for

I want to root for history with Peyton capping this whole thing off

At the same time though having a strong secondary fending off a historically great offense to chip would be fantastic for the league as a whole.

If PeyPey loses, the best quarterback of the generation would have a losing record in the Super Bowl.

That would be a beautiful thing to behold.

Cornball avatar, bro.

The media is trying hard to make this seem like a grudge match, but Most people here think Seattle is a good team.

Good luck to Seattle.

GO FUCKING BRONCOS!

Underdogs baby!

Would be nice to see Peyton get another ring. Not really invested in this game though. Hope it's a good game at least!

Peyton Manning is already the best QB of this generation no matter what happens to him tonight.

I don't even know why a confirmed cheater is even put in the same conversation as Manning. It's like the people that still swear that Barry Bonds is the home run king.

Tom Brady is not a champion. If he was in Major League Baseball, he would be barred from the Hall of Fame like "Shoeless" Joe Jackson.

I don't understand why everyone is so eager to wash away the sins of the Patriots. Does it just make it easier to say the games were on the level? Is it about protecting the legacy and integrity of the league?

Tom Brady and the Patriots cheated their way to three Super Bowl Championships in the early 2000s. They used cameras to film their opponent's practices, and knew every defensive signal.

The experts that say "well, they had to execute with those stolen plays" are absolutely insane. Knowing what play the other team is running on every play is a huge advantage.

Those Super Bowls and playoff games were close games. It wasn't just a coincidence that they were able to come back in those games and pull them off. They cheated. They shouldn't be celebrated as the greatest team of our generation. They made a mockery of the game.

The evidence was burned by the commissioner, because the truth was too damaging to the league.

Manning's critics seem to judge him on standards set by Tom Brady and his team, who had their hand in stealing a few Super Bowl opportunities from Manning. When you introduce poisonous franchises like the Patriots into the league you ruin it for everyone else.

The fact that no one is willing to admit that the Patriots cheated and that their success is in large part due to that cheating is astonishing to me.

Seahawks will also have an asterisk if they win today due to cheating

dude. Your language makes them sound like Jack the Ripper.

but in reality, they are a sky blackening swarm of bat-winged megahitlers.

Well, since the Broncos were also fined for the same thing under McD, let's hope the Seahawks win.

Go Wussell!

Yeah except we fired that fucking asshole right after he was caught. Should have known that he was up to that garbage when he fired the existing film crew right when he got the job.

How sad is it that everyone else is going to Super Bowl parties with their friends and family while you are so lonely, you need to spend your afternoon trying to create your own sad little entertainment by attempting to rile up Pats fans.

Edit: Dammit, Spindasher!

I'm not trying to rile anyone up! I am just preaching the good word! The truth flows through me!

:jnc

No matter what happens to tonight, we are all friends.

Yessir.

I don't mind the Broncos and usually are an AFC team that I usually like to see win, but if the 49ers couldn't beat the Seahawks, I hope the Seahawks win the Super Bowl! I have my Seattle jersey on and ready to go!

[Edit] I wonder if there is a spike in people playing Madden the days leading up to or on the super bowl. I know I always play as the 2 teams in the morning. Only like 5 minute quarters, but I dunno, just one of my yearly things, although I am playing on Madden 12. It's funny how a few years ago Madden rates both of the teams in the 70's. Granted each of their line ups did !change quite a bit
