...which is weird because for the longest time AFC was always considered the best, generally. You could say the rules changing to accommodate an offensive team had a lot to do with that, but then you look at what Seattle just did and it is hard to make that point.

Steelers are rebuilding
Patriots are collapsing
Manning is a choker

Yes but all of the good AFC QB's are aging now and all of the young and up and coming QB's (Except for Luck) are in the NFC.

Good god, what an awful SB. Good job to the Chickens, terrible job to Broncos for shitting the bed. Overall, pretty sucky commercials. Bruno was good at half time, Chili Peppers just need to crawl back to whatever cave they came out of.

I don't know, RHCP was okay but there was no chemistry between the band and what Bruno was doing. Too forced. It just didn't come together.

Pats probably would have beat Denver with Gronk.
If he's healthy next year they'll be right up there, but that's a big if with him.
Defensively they will be much much better if they are healthy and get talib back. That defense would have been legit this season if not for injuries. They only have a one or two year run though

If the Steelers next season happens to be a repeat of what just transpired I'd be concerned that the least of their concerns is that they need to 'rebuild'. But if they aggressively address their problems they should be fine in a couple years.

The commercials were bad (except for VW...the tiny wings :P), the game was a blowout, and the half-time show was weeeirdddddd. As far as Superbowl's go, this was a 5/10.

As far as getting to watch Peyton go down in flames....10/10 would watch again, would cheer the fact that you apparently can't buy a superbowl.

Nothing went right from the start. It was like a few years ago when Tom Brady got called for int grounding in the endzone and the Giants got a safety on one of (the?) first plays of the game. Once the kick was returned for a TD, I knew things had gone completely to shit for them.

Gronk is cursed.

Cursed, and opponents know exactly where to hit him for maximum damage.

People saying Manning was a choker obviously didn't watch the game. The whole team wet the bed. This wasn't only a Manning thing, this was a Denver Broncos thing. The franchise has been the recipient of massive beat downs before.

Seahawks and Niners are the new (and better) Steelers and Ravens. They're going to be around for awhile.

Steelers will be fine. Once they ironed out their offensive issues and finally got Ben to buy in they were good to go.

It was quite sporting of the Seahawks to let Denver score that one touchdown.

That .gif is amazing. :lol

It's been a while since I saw a game like this where the very first play foretold how the game would go, on all fronts. Really remarkable implosion by Denver. The blowout wouldn't have been entertaining if they weren't so spectacularly inept.

it's ok
“We were more friends off the field,” Finley said of Rodgers. “We communicated well off the field, we spoke to each other every day in the locker room, and that was some of the things we normally didn’t do. He’s my buddy and one of the guys I look up to and hopefully I get to play with him for the next several years. . . .

“[H]e’s an icon, man,” Finley added. “If you get his approval or anyone’s approval like that you get comfortable, and he made me feel comfortable this year and I appreciate him for that and we just detailed every aspect of our friendship.”

I heard that all year last year here and then the Ravens won the SB.

Then the ruined their roster by paying Flacco all that money, forcing several players off the team. San Fran and Seattle have a window here because they have a bunch of impact guys making little money so they were able to fill out their lineup with quality depth.

Denver fans would just blame the crowd noise here. ;-)

Jesus though, first play was terrifying reverse of Seahawks last game. Wasn't relaxed till four minutes to go.

gg broncos, nobody hates you.

Wow, the way that the Denver Broncos played the game was...absolutely pathetic. Peyton Manning, & the rest of the team had let down thousands (if not millions) of Broncos fans down by not stepping up their game. It looked like they were nervous as hell & weren't even ready for the Super Bowl.

I gotta congratulate the Seahawks, they've really brung their A game. Definitely deserve the win!

Also, gotta give thanks to Bruno Mars & the Red Hot Chili Peppers for their wonderful halftime show performance!

German TV coverage was aweful. They talked about how horrible the sauerkraut in the hotdogs was for most of the time. Oh, and the brazillian coverage women...

Is that not the case with Denver as well?

iirc the defensive injuries piled up more so for Denver then they did for NE.

Holy shit, I cant believe it, Seattle won a championship. I've lived in Seattle for most of my life, I watched the Sonics get blasted by MJ in 96, I watched the Mariners screw it up in 2001, I watched the Hawks blow it in 2006

This is awesome. I've never felt this before, it feels great.

That said, I want to say GG to Broncos GAF and extend my love to yall, yall are awesome. I wish you all the best

Godslay I got so much love for you man, you're my boy. GG my friend.

Same feeling brother

This is our year. We did it

Godslay this offseason, what is the priority for the Broncos in terms of free agents and draft in your opinion. I think they gotta fix their secondary through the draft. Who replaces Eric Decker?

Taking my daughter to the parade on Wednesday. GO HAWKS!!!!!
Geez, it's you. Heh, awesome. I remember talking to you in the SB XL thread after the Steelers won. Happy to see you finally got your ring. In retrospect you may have very well deserved the XL one too (horrible officiating).
