I'm curious to see how the ratings turn out tomorrow. After Harvin's return to start the 2nd half I think a lot of people were done, maybe a few more drives after that. The 4Q was probably a huge drop, but it's the SB so it maybe it was just a little. Hopefully we get quarter-by-quarter breakdowns.

Well I picked the wrong game to go too. I'm not sure if you guys could hear on the broadcast but the Seattle fans brought the noise. It felt like a Seattle home game even though there looked to be even number of fans (maybe even more orange in the crowd).

The offense ran the plays they normally did, but goddamn are those Seahawks defenders fast, strong, tall and excellent tacklers. The same plays that go for long chunks got very little. Seattle was just a better team all around. The only way we stood a chance was if we had a power running game. Seattle was daring us to throw because their front 7 was manhandling our running game.

Defense did their job early on but after getting blanked for almost all of 3 quarters it's no surprise they just started giving up on plays and failing to tackle.

Congrats Seahawks, you guys thoroughly whipped us good.

Feels bad, Broncos-bros...

Dammit, I can't make the Seahawks parade :(. What a game. All my buddies believed Manning would win. Seattle put a huge exclamation mark today. Felt like Elway was playing like his old self, before he started believing in himself

Yeah, it's a little like a golf tournament after everyone knows Tiger is playing like shit. No one cares anymore.

It definitely sounded like a pro Seahawks crowd, which I found VERY surprising. Super Bowl crowds are usually pretty calm and corporate, but the 12th man was definitely in attendance.

Geez, it's you. Heh, awesome. I remember talking to you in the SB XL thread after the Steelers won. Happy to see you finally got your ring. In retrospect you may have very well deserved the XL one too (horrible officiating).

No worries, mang. No worries.

No bad calls. No weather issues. We won fair and square tonight. HAWKS.

This. Every elementary school within 50 miles is going to be a ghost town on Wednesday.

Yup! I work in the schools. PERSONAL DAY!!

Jesus though, first play was terrifying reverse of Seahawks last game. Wasn't relaxed till four minutes to go.

gg broncos, nobody hates you.

I thought it could still go either way until about 10 seconds into the second half. I couldn't stop laughing through the rest of the game.

Oh to be in Seattle right now. :(

Good god, what an awful SB. Good job to the Chickens, terrible job to Broncos for shitting the bed. Overall, pretty sucky commercials. Bruno was good at half time, Chili Peppers just need to crawl back to whatever cave they came out of.

Really?

I don't know, RHCP was okay but there was no chemistry between the band and what Bruno was doing. Too forced. It just didn't come together.

I was shocked by how good a show Bruno put on. That guy can perform.

Congrats Seattle. Been awhile since we had a blowout. Seeing Denver get their shit pushed in for the SB was nostalgic for us old guys.

Seattle was the superior team but I thought the Broncos coaching staff really shit the bed. The game was not out of hand in the first half and i felt the Broncos were pressing too much on offense and throwing too much when the game was still competitive. No one can throw on Seattle but a lot of teams have run on them. Might have been a closer game if they had run the ball better and pushed their defense around. I was afraid that might happen before the game but I thought Peyton was smart enough to play it safe and not fall into their hands. That was 2003 playoff Peyton not what I have seen more recently.

PeyPey was really great for his losers speech though. That's a classy man. I like the dude but this was clearly the curse of Tebow. Fuck you John Elway!

Malcolm getting Kanye'd by a balding white conspiracy theorist

A healthy Denver still wins the AFC. It's just...NFC is much stronger.

AFC seemed really strong in a lot of regular season AFC/NFC matchups, Indy beat 49ers and Hawks.

I was not expecting this blowout at all.

Once again a Manning keeps Welker from getting a ring.
True... at least this one doesn't involve a Pat's SB loss. Gotta suck for Welker being 0 - 3 in SBs

LOL omg. The lombardi did start to slip away starting with that play

As crazy as this might sound, I think if Tebow was the QB he might have made this a close game.

Congrats to the Seahawk nation. It was a great SB. Watching that defense running to the ball that fast was a thing of beauty. It was like the Seattle D trains in the hyperbolic time chamber coming out super saiyan.

Now only if some of that secondary could come to Philly and help us out. When is Earl Thomas contract up?

I've lived in Washington my whole life and it feels so good to finally have a championship in my lifetime (born in '84). I'm thinking of taking the 2hour drive over the mountains to Seattle for the parade on Wednesday. I'm going to savor this, as I have a feeling it's only going to harder to repeat thanks to the NFCBest.

Also so glad our homegrown Kearse got a freaking amazing TD catch.

I think alotta people underestimate how prepared Seattle gets for games. It's easy to overlook since they seem to have alotta fun and run their mouth and have that swagger, but Pete Carroll rehearses halftime, and during games where he knows its gonna rain he goes and sprays the ball and DBs and WRs hands with water.

Great game for Seattle, Denver fans (Godslay is a champ at this) should in no way feel bad, just getting there is a huge accomplishment. You guys were 4-12 only three years ago. Huge turnaround, also will go down as one of the great historic offenses in the NFL. Great Season of Football overall.

Next Year Raiders Hoist the Lombardi Trophy. You first heard it here!

Feel Free to rub that prediction in my face in 2015.

I was hoping to cry in victory after a hard fought game, and to congratulate the Broncos and their fans after such a hard fought game, no matter who won.

BUT I CAN'T DO THAT NOW BECAUSE I WAS DYING WITH LAUGHTER THE WHOLE ENTIRE TIME

Way to lay an egg.

Go Hawks! Embrace the heel turn, and go for the repeat!!

this!

it would be f'n glorious if the same two teams meet next year and broncos lose again!

The previous 10 SBs were all very close or pretty close, so to see this one look like something from the 80s or early 90s was a bit of a surprise and disappointment from an entertainment perspective. Safety being the opening play was certainly a bad omen for the Broncs. Does Champ finally hang it up after this?

Seriously entertaining up in the Republic of Cascadia.

Godslay this offseason, what is the priority for the Broncos in terms of free agents and draft in your opinion. I think they gotta fix their secondary through the draft. Who replaces Eric Decker?

The priority on defense is to get healthy.

Von, Harris Jr., Wolfe, Vickerson, and Moore. If these guys come back healthy and stay healthy, the defense improves dramatically.

The emergence of Pot Roast and Sly shores up that DL. Quanterus Smith gives Phillips a run for his money, assuming he (Phillips) comes back. Personally, I think the DL is set, we have a solid core of guys there.

LBs are set with Danny T., Von, and Irving. Woodyard/Lenon are an interesting case. I'm not sure if either come back to be honest. Danny T remains the WLB, Irving slides over to MLB, and Von is the SLB. I'm guessing that we will draft here towards an MLB.

Moore shores up the FS, but I'm not sure about Ihenacho. I think we draft a SS or sign a FA to give him a push.

Champ takes a hair cut for sure. DBs are DRC, Harris, Champ, Webster.

On offense, Decker is a priority, but I'm not sure we can hang on to him or Moreno. I'm fine with Ball and Anderson. Line will be fine with Clady back, and maybe draft for depth. As far as WRs, tough call, if we let Decker walk, I'm not sure who steps up. Maybe Robinson?

I'm sure this will change as the offseason evolves, so don't hold me to it. Just some off the cuff guesses.

Finally the rest of the country sees how horribly inept and incompetent the NJ Transit is. Anyone familiar with them is completely unsurprised at this.

Fuck the Bills, but I'm hoping my Browns will find their day in the sun. We haven't been relevant since Bernie Kosar. And that was when little girls were wearing oversized New Kids on the Block buttons on their bookbags.

I feel so bad for you Browns fans, though. Who fires a 1st year HC?

At least you guys did the right thing and traded Trent Richardson away. Browns are probably a QB away from being a playoff team.

I think you're right. Our defense is pretty damn good, considering how little relief they get from the offense. We've just had such a horrible time fielding a full, competent O line and QB. Shit feels awful every season.

As for the HC...pray for us. Hard to be a Browns fan. :(

But I love em anyway :D
