Very much deserved

I was skeptical going into this year's E3 about Zelda, but Nintendo completely blew away my expectations.

for me it was a tie between horizon zero dawn and zelda breath of the wild

good to see zelda win,

funny enough they both look pretty similar from the outside lol

man when these two games come out, there will be some serious ass vs discussions :3

Well deserved.

It wasn't my most hyped moment of the show (That honor belongs to RE7), but I feel that it was hands down the best game there. Nothing else even came close.

The Zelda vs. Horizon debate is going to boil up repeatedly in the months to come.
The "Best of E3 2016" showdown is merely the first of many.
They will also battle for GAF's Most Anticipated Game of 2017 and Game of the Year 2017.
 
Well deserved. Doesn't absolve them of not bringing anything else, but a good showing of a game I hope they have not misrepresented. Bravo.
 
Well deserved.

I felt mostly indifferent to Breath of the Wild before E3, but now I need it. I was never expecting to be won over this bad.

Horizon already won a bunch of them last year. I hope Zelda gets a lot of the awards this time.
 
Sony's conference was better than Nintendo's "conference", by a country mile.

But Zelda was absolutely incredible. So, well done. Happy to pick it up and gorge myself on it.
 
Game of the show, and most of what Nintendo showed was the game's learn-it-yourself tutorial area. Impressive.

My hunch? This is the game that guarantees NX doesn't turn-in a GameCube/Wii U-tier market presence.
 
Nice win for Nintendo after their recent setbacks. They are seriously overhauling Zelda and it's cool to see.

Whoa now that's jumping the gun alil. Console still has to be good too. One game isn't enough

Yep... exactly. First Xenoblade Chronicles X delivering on an amazing open world game and now they have Zelda to top it.

To think... what we saw was on Wii U. There's a chance that saturation or foliage and maybe some other minor details like be improved for the NX version too! SO SOLD! :D
 
Great to see it so well received. They took a gambit and focused on this one game and it paid off. Great showing all around.
