These are incredibly insecure people that can't stand to read anything that isn't anti-Xbox. And you weren't even praising Xbox, but merely giving a glimpse into how normal consumers actually think. The conversation went like this:
Them: "Lol, why are these people still buying Xboxes?"
You: "Here's why they are buying Xbox."
Them: "Shut up. No-one wants to buy Xbox! You must be a fanboy! Phil Spencer sucks!"

A lot of early Xbox fandom did come from a wanting of revenge.
Peter Moore and Sega's exclusives certainly played into this.
Now it's happening to them again.
Guy is an xbox fanboy. Same guy who made the gamepass song. Tomorrow he will be talking about how the xbox is "a PC but with none of the headaches I had" to sell a PC as a new and exciting MS/xbox product.
