AMD GFX 1170: "RDNA 4m" = RDNA 3.75? Is this minimum hardware requirement for official FSR4 support?

GFX 1170 is apparently an iGPU part slated for Madusa Point APU (successor to Strix/Gorgon point). It uses "RDNA 4m" architecture, which may be the same RDNA 3.5+/3.75 MLiD mentions time to time (including Madusa Point/Halo leak). It sounds like 3.5 with FP8 component added to it instead of a true RDNA 4 part.

Madusa Point is entry level mobile ship for Zen 6 with 8 CUs (due out early as 4Q '26 or 1Q 27?). It would greatly benefit from FSR4 upscaling to compete with Panther Lake, hence GFX 1170.

But does this mean not even INT8 version of FSR4 for RDNA 3/3.5 from AMD drivers? No FSR4 for Z1E and Z2E handhelds? Valave will have to implement FSR4 via INT8 independent of AMD in Steam OS?

Steam is not going to use commercially a leaked model. If they do they will emulate FP8 model with FP16.

Didn't Intel just added MFG to meteor lake iGPU? Kind of sad that AMD is still behind in ML, and RT in 2026 compare to something from 2 years ago.
