if that's him they just wasted a build up and a character just to have piss off Rick

Considering it's been at least a year since he last saw Morgan, if they actually try to use his death as a "snapping" point.... idk, I just cant imagine it.

More likely situation is people are going to die, Rick is going to go off the edge and Morgan is gonna bring Rick back to Earth, much like what Rick did back in CLEAR

I refuse to think they've been teasing Morgan all this time just to have him killed off screen. There's just no way. Hopefully the glasses/wedding ring stuff is just a red herring.

I want Carl, Rick's baby, Gabriel, and Sasha to die.

That's come cool speculation but there's simply no way in hell Gimple wastes a character like Morgan who is considered pretty damn special on something like that. You'd be passing off on the rick morgan reunion which will be a great moment, and then all the stuff in between and then a possible death in the future that would have a lot more impact.

This worlds civilizations were founded on war, death, conquering territories . What makes you think the rebirth of any civilization will be peaceful and easy. It's sadly human nature.

I don't expect it to be. What I do expect is for someone like Deanna to know that and be ready for it. The world's civilizations weren't just built on war, death and conquest, though. They were also built on a hell of a lot of trust and cooperation. That The Walking Dead constantly assumes nobody can work together in groups larger than 10 for more than 1 week to beat the Zombie Apocalypse just gets routine.

I'll be pleasantly surprised if Rick and company leave Alexandria and the community isn't overrun with zombies with pillars of smoke rising from it.

make sure the pudding isn't too soggy but that just ruins everything
I will quit the show if they have been teasing Morgan all season long to just kill him off screen.

It will be a flashback. Probably an entire standalone episode or two just about morgan and his journey. This will also be a way to introduce the other group. Before they face off against Rick's people.

I'm betting it's either a significant part of the finale, or the beginning of next season.

It will be absolutely hilarious if that's Morgan. Black quota meme will reach a whole new level.

Yeah, Deanna seems to want the unrealistic. It really feels dumb for someone who is supposed to be smart to be so....dumb. You'd think even the death of her boy would jar her out of any illusions on what needs to be done but its only made her even more cling to her detrimental beliefs.

Sure she wants a nice civilization, I'm sure even Rick does too, but that's not gonna happen in the current world climate and likely not in their lifetimes. They gotta start up from scratch and build civilization from the ground up. Rome wasn't built in a day or something, but Deanna seems to want it to be that way.

As for who dies in the finale, I'm actually going with Michonne, her current arc seems to be leading towards it and I could see the writers going for a surprise shock instead of the obvious (Sasha, who was linked to be following in Michonne's footsteps)

He barely knows her, and at this point he's putting her before his family (including his children).

That's stupid as hell. Rick has done a lot of crazy or stupid stuff to protect his family, Jessie is not family. It's a shoehorned romance meant to drive the plot and Rick is acting out of character just to provide conflict.

Is anyone in life ever in character when they get thirsty? Especially in the zombie world where everyone out there lacks shampoo and electric hair trimmers.

Even Carl is getting some dammit

If thats Morgan that would be dumb. Sadly, I don't doubt that the writers would do something like that. Next season will probably have a episode dedicated to Morgan where it ends with him getting chopped into pieces. lol

edit: Its probably going to be the season opener or 2nd episode

This show is such a mess sometimes. It has this great potential to be a top-tier show and run with the big dogs but I just don't think the writing crew is up to the task.

What was with the Nine Inch Nails in the beginning? It was loud and just seemed weird and out of place. I even really like NIN too, so to have somebody who likes the band be like "WTF is going on here?" I think says something. We had a room of 4 people watching together and when Deanna hit the stop button on the player more than one of us said "Thank God." What a weird opening. Not sure what they were going for at all. It just felt like somebody on the staff fought really hard to get a song in there because they've been keen on it lately or something.

Also, I thought I noticed the support beams on the outside of the walls but figured I must be seeing it wrong. Are there no beams inside? Are they really just on the outside? That seems like such a terrible idea!

And if Morgan was laying in pieces and they give us some flashback scene of him being killed by the "W" people, I'm going to be really annoyed. I might even drop the show.

Also, for those who have said Glenn has his "hero" moment during the 2nd half of this season, I haven't seen it yet. They've given him more airtime but he's been the same guy he's been for some time now. He's always been a cool character.

Looking back on the episode, everything after the intro was of substance and served a purpose, but it still felt like an empty episode somehow. Not sure how to explain it either, I just know it ended and I was like "well, that's it?"

I'm interested to see what the finale has to offer.

I thought it was obvious that since they couldn't retrieve Aiden's body, they were playing music he liked to honor/remember him

If that body really is Morgan and there is no real reason to do it other then for shock value and to keep up the status quo then yea that might be grounds for some people to quit the show lol

NIN playing at the start seemed like it was honoring Aiden death. That's the impression I got.

Wow, fuck Michonne for smashing Rick in the head. They should be willing to follow him into hell no matter how crazy he gets which really was not that crazy in my view. And Glen needs to be eaten. What a fucker, dude goes back to camp with most of the team dead and could put up a more convincing argument on how shit got out of hand.

Haha, I forgot about the Nine Inch Nails "What the fuck?" moment. I thought they were going to give some context or explanation to that at some point ("This was our son's favorite band" or something) but nope.....just an elderly couple listening to crazy thrash-electronic music to mourn their loss. That had to be the most bizarre opening of any episode.

You want the walls to be slanted outward vertically so that the zombies cannot lean onto them and bring them down with their collective weight. That's what they did with the prison fences. To have the walls slanted though you would need the beams to be on the outside......which leaves you very vulnerable to humans since it's probably easy to take out a beam and bring a wall down, but zombies are too dumb to figure that out. It's a decent reflection of how naive the city-people are, in that they have engineered a solution which completely ignores the possibility of hostile humans in favor of zombie protection.

Music at the start of the episode was from the CD her son used in their supply runs to get the walkers away from the community, the "run mix". The same one that was playing in the van in the previous episode when they left. The context wasn't exactly obscure.

Michonne did the right thing. Rick was headed into crazy "shit happens" mode, waving a gun around, putting people at risk. She's the constable there. He had just knocked Carl away, he wasn't in the mood to be talked to or reasoned with

And Glenn could have also been interviewed by Deanna. We don't know

I'm glad they didn't. I thought it was pretty clear why they were playing the music

Dude, someone asked SECONDS after it was shown what the card that Carol wrote said. Don't give too much credit to some of the people watching.

Crazy Rick is the best, but there was no way to defuse that situation without someone losing face in front of the entire town or a bigger incident breaking out. I think she did the smart thing and prevented a nasty 'us vs. them' scenario had someone else done it.

How the hell many people live in the community? I can never tell because AMC doesn't want to spend the HUNDREDS of dollars it would take to pay for extras.

In the comics, there were hundreds. Here, I guess its maybe two dozen?

I'm expecting a bunch of people we have never seen or care about die in the final episode.

That's what I'm talking about. I think Rick is a maniac, but I'll take him over this new group of people any day. Rick gets it done.

Nah, Rick needed to chill the fuck out, regardless of how much I was entertained by it. Anyways, that episode was actually dope. More of that, although is Morgan is actually dead as people here are speculating... That would be such a waste.

How much more does the show have left to catch up to the comics and how close are the comics to the end game(if there is even one in sight)?

I hope Nicholas gets a gruesome death in the finale. It's only fitting. Hope he doesn't do anything stupid and kill anyone.

yeah the should tie him up in a barn while they have a discussion for 6 episodes on what to do with him.

Rick has evolved. No time for that shit anymore. Fight or die.
Nah. Watch, I bet the Wolves will attack next week and then Rick and co will show the Alexandrians how the real world operates in a much clearer fashion than a bloody wild rant while swinging a gun around

If only it was just that.

They were actually asking, straight up, "WHAT is shit burning?" Like... c'mon, son.

Thanks for assuming I'm braindead, guys. I get that they were listening to honor Aiden, but c'mon you gotta recognize that it was just a loud and grating song to have on for what felt like ages while they panned around to different things. I'm sure the family members didn't know what was even on the disc and just wanted to honor him, I get that. I'm just saying it made for an obnoxious intro and I'm a NIN fan so I can only imagine how annoying it was for people who aren't. Again, it felt like somebody on the crew was like "Man I dig the hell out of this NIN song! We gotta put it in there! Cmon! Gotta do it! It'll be awesome!"

Thank God, somebody actually understands what I was saying about that intro with NIN just blasting over everything.

As for the walls, yknow that makes complete sense. Thanks for pointing that out. I think when
The Saviors
eventually come, that's going to be a problem.

(Comic Spoilers)
The conclusion of Episode 515 lined up frame-by-frame with the last panel of Issue 75. Currently, we're closing in on 140 Issues. There's a lot of crazy shit that still has to go down (at least 2 full seasons worth, imo) and there is still no endgame in sight at the moment. Kirkman said he has ideas of an endgame but he wants to keep writing the comic as long as he enjoys it and as long as people continue to enjoy reading it.

So wait, people are actually rooting FOR the insane blood covered man waving a gun at everyone in town?

At the rate Rick is going, he's going to end up with a bunch of fish tanks with heads in them and an eye patch.

There we're not hundreds of people in Alexandria in the comics. Dozens maybe.
Are you thinking of Hilltop? That was much larger.

I totally forgot how that went down in the comics. Huh. I love when the show's version of events is so in-sync with the comic

I agree. This whole Jesse thing is ridiculous and he looked absolutely like a fucking lunatic waving that gun at everyone. He's pissed about Jesse and Pete, not Noah or security. I hate abusers as much as the next person, but that situation didn't need to be handled by Rick like that. He loses all credibility with both groups when it's obvious he's doing it because he wants Pete's wife for himself. He's not doing it for any other reason.

If it wasn't for Michonne and Glenn, they wouldn't even BE in Alexandria because Rick was so far gone he didn't even want to entertain the idea that Aaron was telling the truth. I'm sorry, Rick is right to an extent about safety and about how Alexandria needs to be more secure but we've seen this whole season that his group has been gently fighting with Rick about keeping some sense and humanity. And the rest of the group really wants to make Alexandria work. They want to be out of the woods. Rick doesn't.

The only time Rick was completely right this season was about killing the cannibals immediately. I absolutely agreed with him and it came back to bite them (or Bob). Rick's crazy mistrust almost got them all killed heading to Alexandria because he had to go the back roads at night.

And this whole showdown last night was about Jesse and Pete. Nothing else really. Deanna had agreed with him about shoring up security. She's sent out patrols to monitor the fence and she's manned the tower. The only thing she's said no to was killing Pete. And Rick went fucking crazy.
