AMC's new series 'Better Call Saul' premieres tonight after The Walking Dead so you'll have to wait an extra hour for The Talking Dead.

This is a one time only thing, as Better Call Saul's regular slot is on Monday nights, so don't fret.

(Better Call Saul is getting really good reviews, so this definitely isn't another Low Winter Sun situation. Link to the OT, for those of you interested in joining us over there)

Great episode. Wish Tyreese made it though, but the episode was fantastic.

Wonder whats with the halved bodies in the truck?

This the most I've felt drained by an episode since perhaps finale where Hershel died and we didn't know if Judith was dead.

I'm so glad I didn't watch the marathon leading up to the premiere. To see Beth go followed by Tyreese might have been a bit much tonight.

Only got to watch the last ~10 or so minutes from the point where Ty was tripping out and Rick got that zombie in slow motion, but it seemed okay.

Buddy of mine was texting me about how boring it all was but I'll watch it tomorrow in full.

I was thinking the same, 5 minutes of show followed by 4 1/2 minutes of commercials (rinse/repeat) good episode overall but this was a bummer, AMC is getting a bit too greedy with it all (not that they haven't from the start really).

They got me with the beginning of the episode though. Sad to see Ty go.

Oh one of them is definitely gone. My money is on Sasha first, and she'll go out wack as fuck. Like there will be no build up, they'll be doing a run or something and she drops like a box of grits and shit, bends down to pick it up and zombies kill her.

Won't be able to find out about the bodies until tomorrow due to Talking Dead airing later. Need to get to sleep early tonight so I'll have to watch the dvr recording tomorrow.

Damn still though. I knew Ty would die eventually but still. However I do like that he did have some peace or closure (such as it was) before the end. That should have come much sooner and not right before the death though. It's getting annoying that they do that. Character wise Bob, Beth, and Ty at least got decent send offs.

Do we really need this black quota stuff? The show kills loads of white people too. I mean come on. It was kind of funny at first in the vein of the "black guy dies in the horror movie" trope but some of you are taking it too seriously. No one wants a list or ratio of what members of what race have died the most but I have to imagine it would be way more white cast members by a pretty large margin. So maybe give it a rest?

-the hallucination cameos were cool at first but became quickly played out when they made that the entire episode. and bob's face at the end o_O
-how the hell does noah outrun tyreese? doesn't the dude have a limp? makes no sense.

to be fair on your first point, Tyreese was clearly in another world when he saw that photograph. Mad zoned out and he got bit.

Tyreese has a high strength and armor stat but because of that his speed and agility are low.

I imagine there's a writer somewhere who thinks the inane babbling in Tyrese's hallucinations was just surpassingly deep and profound. He is not correct.

Anyone else not liking the future glimps of events being shown say at the beginning of the episode and shown later on as well? Its becoming played out AND it makes no sense or fit in the plot of the episode because you arent sure if its a scene from now or future scene.

For instance, I forgot the episode but its the one where Carol,Tyress and the girls end up in a cabin/house in the middle of the woods.

Like at the beginning of the episode they show a scene of the inside of the house first, then a look outside the window. There you see 2 girls running or playing and you are like what the fuck was that? Why am I seeing this. We eventually find out its that wacko girl playing with a zombie. Ok but why did I have to see a glimps of this? Its really not that important or has no immediate sense of value to the viewer, only confusion. Maybe its just me.

Edit: I would like to state that the first show were I saw this was LOST and they did an amazing job at this. (had audible sound cues to let viewer know the scene was a look at the past or so ) The dudes making TWD just do it for random shit and its like nothing important.

Not exactly the episode people want to come back to have a break.

If one is regularly watching The Walking Dead they should know by now to avoid twitter and facebook until the episode finishes airing in their timezone.This can't be stressed enough. It sucks that people will get spoiled but people need to learn others will react right away and they need to stay away from social media for at least a few hours prior to watching. Twitter is taking what happen hard though. I'm still feeling what happen but that is at least good to see.

The issue is this show only has a handful of black actors/actresses at a time, and keeps it that way by killing them off shortly after new black actors are added to the cast. This was especially a big deal in the early seasons, where only one black actor was on the cast at any given time and it was comically obvious what they were doing.
