What? PPKs are available here starting at €280. You must have a fancy model, right?

Looks pretty fancy to me. I paid I think 900? It was during COVID when I was going through a pistol purchasing phase lol

Nice one, that stainless PPK is at ~ €1000 here as well.

Is it fun to shoot?
I assume it's a fun gun?

Unfortunately, I've already used up my legal quota of pistols, but that's okay for now, otherwise I would probably have succumbed to a pistol purchasing phase as well.

Wait you can actually buy a PPK?
🥲
Sure, with the right paperwork and permits, that's possible.

Super fun, not much kickback at all so its easy to be accurate with shots. And its my CC down here in Florida. You no longer need a license to carry so you assume everyone is packin. Has nice weight to it but not too much. It isn't bulky. I'd much prefer carrying one of these than a Glock or Sig (which are the preferred tools down here).

Understandable, I'd prefer a single stack magazine for an EDC gun as well. If those 6 (7) bullets won't save your life, 20 probably would not either - and the P320 just shoots you all by itself lol

I saw a movie on Netflix with one of the James Bonds this weekend.
Thursday Murder Club.
A bunch of old people solving crime.
Now I'm reading a thread about a bunch of old gamers buying physical games.
That old people smell is your physical library off gassing into your homes.

Nice!! I have one as well.

Anyway, preordered the shit out of this because I need that Golden Gun

No wonder your ancestors surrendered to mine at Yorktown

Laughs in Australian, I wouldn't even bother pricing one of these a simple glock is $1,500
I am not an expert on Australian gun laws, but from what I have just read, the requirements for private gun ownership in Australia and Germany are somewhat similar. Waiting periods and certain parameters differ, but in principle it seems possible for an Australian private citizen to purchase a pistol for sport shooting or hunting.

in Germany they go for about 1000€, standard black.
Waffen Lohmann in Leipzig currently has a 7.65 mm caliber model on offer for €279.
It's a really nice model from 1966 that comes with a matching leather holster.
