Disappointing, but not bad is what I'm taking from most of these reviews. Seeing it opening night none the less, but I did have a feeling this would be the general consensus.

I was talking in reference to the previous movie, which has a 93 % on RT, and something in 80s on Meta. A disappointment in that sense.

Mendes has made a number of really boneheaded creative choices with his Bond films.
Dumping Arnold is one of the biggest. Babs and MGW should have vetoed it.
I actually like Newman. I think his work on Pixar films has been really great - WALL-E especially. But he's a terrible fit with Bond.

Skyfall's score is fine, but it's basically a Thomas Newman score. Which doesn't exactly scream Bond.
Arnold was really good at imitating that Barry sound.
A lot of his recent interviews have been really great.
Daniel Craig strikes me as an awesome person to hang out with.
If you like people sneering at you and giving one word sarcastic answers then sure.

Best Craig quotes this year was him responding to a rumor Simon Pegg put out about Daniel being a Stormtrooper in the new Star Wars.
