Say goodbye to the six-sided ring. TNA has a traditional four-sided ring set up in the Impact Zone for tonight's Genesis PPV.

TNA had been using the six-sided ring since debuting at Universal Studios in May 2004 for their first Impact taping.

And lol Escobar. Many people thought he was going to get a pretty big push since he was with Vickie, but they totally just gave up on that story line. He wasn't even that great in the ring and he was in developmental forever, I didn't see much of a future with him in the WWE. Some places are reporting that there will be more releases coming pretty soon.

Well looks like Scott Hall is out of the match tonight, supposedly because he tried on wrestling trunks for the first time in a long time and actually saw how out of shape he was. He will be replaced by either Waltman or Eric Young:lol

I am pumped for the ppv tonight. Looks like a solid card from top to bottom. I think Red's opponent could be either moore or hardy but will end up being the debuting

and the match will be awesome. Which begs the question will Hardy even be on the PPV? as for the rest of the card.

Sources report that the Bobby Lashley vs. Abyss match will not take place tonight as Abyss will attack Lashley and lay him out before the match.

Ken "Kennedy" Anderson is then set to make his TNA debut in the match against Abyss. Anderson has been confirmed as the "major acquisition."

Would love to see Abyss put his opponent in the tacks but alas his opposition is "fra-gee-lay" to say the least. Also if Beer Money gets squashed by the Wolfpac I may physically harm Hogan/Bischoff.

the said this was another talent acquistion, not someone wrestling who already debuted for a 2nd time.

6 sided ring was such a gimmick. Glad it is gone.

Reminds of an interview with vince on OTR where he said they didn't compete with tna because they had a 6 sided ring vs wwe's 4 sided ring, heh.

Vince was on OTR after TNA started?

I thought Vince blacklisted that show after the host asked Edge if he took roids?

1. i really like Kendrick music.
2. Are they in the Impact zone, because the place looks much bigger.
3. I hate the whole elevated ramp into the ring thing. it always seemed pointlessly dangerous.
