I know everyone hates sequels but damn if there aren't a lot of movies on this list that I would love to see. Of course, it should be pointed out that movies will often stall or get delayed or cancelled so some of these won't ever make it. I find it hard to believe that there is gonna be a Fantastic Four 2 (If they're is there will probably call it Fan2stic Four)

Also, Spaceballs 2: The Quest for more Money? I wont believe it until I hear it from Mel Brooks mouth.

how many of these are actually confirmed though? Looks like quite a few are in the "Yeah, we would really love to work on another ______" phase.

Nope. To make this list all you need is to have someone, somewhere say it's a good idea essentially

Another one of those sequels that we assume is pretty much dead, and then there's a flicker of life. In this case, Ron Perlman - Hellboy himself - has been trying to raise interest in the third movie via social media. The core cast now seem keen to return, but the problem - apart from the cost - may well be finding space on Guillermo del Toro's docket. He's going to be busy with Pacific Rim 2 at least until 2017. Still, Hellboy right now is a trilogy without its final part...

Holy shit no way! Big Hero 6 is my favorite Disney movie since Mulan and Hercules. *checks link*

Walt Disney Animation Studios doesn't announce new films until it's good and ready to do so, but rumours persist it's investigating a follow-up to the Oscar-winning Big Hero 6. Directors Don Hall and Chris Williams are both said to be interested.

this is one of those lists that includes "they talked about wanting to do it 4 years ago so its probably still happening" movies.

I haven't heard anything about Crank 3 in ages

The fact that they are making Blade Runner 2 still pisses me off. The first is my favorite film and I can guarantee that the sequel will be shit compared the original. There is zero chance it will be better.

Ooh, Journey 3. That's probably the only one I'm excited about, at a glance. Really dug the first two. Fun movies.

Anyway, it is kinda horrifying how franchise- and sequel-heavy Hollywood has gotten. Hoping for more original IP in the future. Maybe once the superhero bubble bursts that will result in fewer franchise films to some degree.

Yes! It was really good. Very glad we're getting a 3, missed that in my skim of the list. Come to think of it, I think I'd heard they were making it and totally forgot. Really under-appreciated flicks.

There's a few movies on this list I'm pretty sure are not happening; like Fantastic Four 2 or Terminator Gensysysysysyss 3.

Others like Ouija 2 or Wolfcop II sound like direct to DVD sequels.
